Natalie

I ran out of the bathroom stall and over to Emily.
"Hey Natalie, where did you and Ash disappear to?" She wiggled her eyebrows and winked at me.
I rolled my eyes and got in the van.
"Seriously though," she climbed into the van and sat next to me. "What happened?"
I looked down and fiddled with my seat belt, trying to explain what had happen to her without getting extremely pissed off, or crying. It doesn't seem to be working very well. I shook my head and looked at her. "I don't know."
Emily looked confused and chuckled a little bit as she spoke "you... Don't know?"
I sighed and laid my head on the window. "He's a dick and I have no interest in him, he can go to hell."
"Damn Natalie, what's got you so pissed off?" I looked up to see Michael getting into the van and making himself comfortable.
I looked to the drivers seat, where Ashton was sitting. "Him." I say, gesturing to Ashton.
"What did he do this time?" Michael questioned.
"What didn't he do."
Michael laughed and whispered something to Luke, I'm guessing it was vulgar because Luke looked disgusted but, amused.
Calum hopped into the van and turned around to face all of us. "I have an announcement!"
"You're gay." Michael smirked at his own comment.
"Fuck you Clifford." Calum shot him a glare, then continued. "We're going to go pick up Hailey!"
The van was silent, no one looked very amused.
Luke broke the silence. "Isn't that... A bit awkward Cal?"
Ashton spoke "why would it be awkward, Luke?"
The tone in his voice didn't seem very, welcoming.
Luke shifted in his seat. "Uhm... No reason..."
"I believe he asked me, Ashton" Calum stated. "It won't be awkward, as long as we look past the... uh...past betw-"
"There was no past Calum." Ashton interrupted.
"Obviously there was if you're acting like that." I said as I continued to stare out the window.
Ashton stopped the car and turned towards the back where I was. "There was no past worth remembering. What has happened is over." He turned back around and started driving.
"Someone's in a pissy mood just because a girl rejected him." I regretted that as soon as I said it, but there was no going back.
I could see Ashton's grip tighten on the wheel.
The rest of the car ride to go pick up Hailey was quiet. You could cut the tension with a knife.

A/N Hiiiii I'm back. Sorry I was gone forever but my iPod that I originally wrote this on wouldn't process watt pad anymore so I had to wait and get a new one. So here you go!
