Bakugo POV:

I wasn't so sure if I was ready for this. I looked at Deku, who reached for the doorknob. I hid behind him. What will my classmates think of me?

Ashido POV:

I was sitting in the main living area. The other girls tried to cheer me up. "Come on Mina! Ribbit. None of this is your fault!" I looked over at Tsu. "This kind of is my fault. It's been about two hours, and neither of them are back because of me! If I held my ground better with Bakugo, he wouldn't have ran off. What if they're hurt because of me!?"

Tsu looked like she didn't know what to say. So, Ochako gave me a hug. It felt nice, but it didn't help. Suddenly, I heard the doorknob turn. "Maybe it's them!"

Ochako let go of me and we all stood up to see who was coming in. I saw fluffy green hair, knowing it belonged to Midoriya! I got excited, but that quickly went away as he shut the door without Bakugo in sight.

"Midoriya, did you find him!?" He looked at me, then put his hand behind his head like he didn't want to tell me something. "Well...yes, I did find him." His voice was unsteady.

"H-h-he's dead, i-isn't he?" By now I was on the verge of tears. "No! Don't worry Ashido!" He quickly reassured me. It made me feel better. Kirishima spoke up. "Then where is he?"

Midoriya took a deep breath. "Before you see him, please don't freak out too much." I was confused as to what he meant. Midoriya stood aside to reveal a small child that was hiding behind him.

Bakugo POV:

Deku moved over. The whole class was now staring at me. All of their jaws were dropped. None of them knew how to react. Either that or they didn't believe it was me.

"Wait, so you're saying this is Bakugo?" Raccoon eyes-I mean Ashido walked over. She crouched down and pet my hair. I quickly stepped back. "Yeah, it's me." She seemed surprised.

By now, everyone was walking over. "Does he still remember us?" Kaminari asked. Deku answered him. "Yeah, he remembers all of you." Deku explained everything, including how I got like this, my current state of mind, and how long I'll be like this. He also included that I'm quirkless.

Everyone was shocked. I was about to go back to Deku when a pair of hands grabbed me and lifted me off the ground. I looked up to see Todoroki. He was the one I feared the most.

I had always been the meanest to Deku, but if Deku weren't in our class, I was the meanest to Todoroki. I squirmed trying to get out of his grasp. He held on tighter and brought me closer to him. He probably feared that he would drop me.

"Hey! Stop that!" He looked around the room, then handed me over to Kirishima. "Here, you take him." I don't think Kirishima knew what to do with me, because he just stood there with an awkward look on his face.

"Put me down!" I was set on the ground, then I ran over to Deku. Before I could reach him, all of the girls blocked my way and made a circle around me. "He's so cute!" They all synchronized.

"Awwwww!" I wanna hold him now!" The invisible one, I think her name is Hagakure, picked me up. Then I was yanked from her arms as Ashido held me. Then I was touched and began to feel my body float. Ashido was surprised by my sudden weightlessness and let go. Round face put her fingers together, and I fell. I was caught by the frog's tongue.

"Tsu! It's my turn with him!" They all ran at me and tried to take me for themselves. I couldn't take it anymore. As I was being flung around, I felt my eyes tear up. I began to cry.

This seemed to get them to stop, because I was put on the ground. I sat down and continued to cry. I couldn't stop. Deku made his way into the circle and picked me up. I'm sure everyone was staring at me, but I didn't care. I cried into his shoulder.

Deku POV:

Kacchan continued to cry into my shoulder. I tried to get him to stop, but nothing would work. "Bakugo, we're so sorry!" All of the girls started apologizing to him. All of the boys just stared. They had never seen Kacchan cry before. Especially when he balls his eyes out like this.

"Look, he'll be okay. That was just a little too much for him." I smiled and tried to cheer up the girls. A few of them looked like they were going to cry too.

"I'm going to take Kacchan to my room now. Maybe he just doesn't want to be around so many people." We went up to the second floor where my dorm is. I opened the door to my room and walked in. Kacchan was still crying.

I set him on the bed and kneeled in front of him. I put my hand on his head and gently ruffled his hair. This seemed to calm him down a little bit. He opened his eyes and looked at me. They were pink and puffy. "Deku." Was all he said.

I put my hands on his shoulders. "That was probably too much excitement for you, huh?" He nodded and wiped some tears from his face, soon to be replaced by more.

I heard a knock on my door, and Kacchan flinched. "It's open!" The door opened and Kaminari and Kirishima walked in. "Hey guys, what's up?"

Kaminari talked first. "We just wanted to see how Bakugo was doing." They shut the door and walked over. Kacchan put his arms around my neck and buried his face in my shoulder opposite of where Kirishima and Kaminari were.

Kirishima sat on my bed, and Kaminari sat on his knees next to me. Kacchan tensed up. Kirishima put his hand on Kacchan's back. "We're not going to do anything to you." Kacchan slowly let go of me and looked at Kirishima, who smiled.

Kaminari reached over and wiped away Kacchan's tears. "See, we're nice!" Now, Kacchan smiled. Kaminari started to speak. "So, how does it feel to be a kid again?"

Kacchan looked down, and his expression was slightly sad. "Well, it's a little scary. Everyone is bigger than me, and I'm currently defenseless. I can't do many things with my little body. And when I feel any emotion, it's a lot to handle." He was gripping his pants tighter with every sentence he said.

Kirishima spoke and tried to calm him down more. "This is just the first day, so I'm sure things will get better soon! I'm sure you'll find a few things you like about this." Kacchan looked up at him and smiled. He released his grip from his pants and relaxed.

They both ruffled his hair, then the two boys got up and left, leaving me alone with Kacchan. As the door shut, Kacchan looked at me and smiled. I smiled back and gave him a hug. He giggled and hugged me back.

"Deku, maybe this won't be so bad."
