Chapter 10: Trouble Comes In All Sizes

A/N: Sorry about the late update as an apology this chapter is extra long but I'll try to do a double update today but I've been feeling sick lately and it depends on if I feel well enough to finish chapter 11. Seriously though thanks for all the support and understanding! Love you guys!

Elizabeth's POV:

It's been a few days since the party and ever since then Asmodeus' flirting has increased tenfold but on the bright side, he is pretty fun to be around. Although thanks to Asmodeus constant touching and flirting Mammon has had at least 10 bitch fits a day all of which Leviathan has recorded and posted on his weird blog that trashes on Mammon. Speaking of Mammon, he and I were currently in the kitchen snooping around in the fridge because he texted me earlier about how hungry he was and I was also starving so I joined him. "Is there even anything in there we can eat?" I asked Mammon looking over his shoulder into the nearly empty fridge. "Fraid not there's barely anythin' in here we can thank Beel's sleep-eating for that." I sigh and hold my grumbling stomach then say "Maybe we can order take out if we can't find anything or make anything out of what's in there." Mammon's eyes scanned every inch of the almost empty fridge before he caught sight of a pudding cup. "I don't have any money though but hey I found somethin'!" said Mammon as he grabbed the pudding cup and turned around to show me the pudding cup which I noted had a note on it. "What's this?" I asked as I picked up the small note off the pudding's lid and read it aloud "Eat it and you die. -Beelzebub." Mammon just grunted seemingly annoyed and said "Outta all things he coulda left uneaten it had to be one measly puddin' cup." he said as he looked at the pudding in his hand. Mammon's eyes lit up with mischief and a smirk made its way onto his face as he said "Ya know what? Let's eat it to teach him a lesson bout eatin' all our damn food." I frowned and said "I don't think that's a good idea he could get really angry about this." Mammon shrugged as he peeled off the pudding's lid and grabbed two spoons handing me one as he said "Who cares? I'm tired of starving after he eats all the damn food we got! Besides not like he scares me at all! and even if he finds out it's gone we can just pretend it wasn't us who ate it!" He had a good point we could just eat it and even if Beelzebub gets mad we can blame someone else or say he ate it without noticing. That seems wrong though... My train of thought was derailed as my stomach growled and I said "Screw it lets eat I'm starving." Mammon grinned and said enthusiastically "That's the spirit human!" we then proceeded to share one tiny pudding cup and after we finished it we left it on the table. "That wasn't even enough to make a dent in my hunger." I said as my stomach growled for what seemed to be the millionth time today. Mammon frowned and nodded in agreement with me as he said "Yeah that tiny little snack didn't do squat for me either. Maybe we can find somethin' else" he then started rummaging around in the cabinets for more food as I checked my wallet for any cash. I found nothing since I was constantly tossing money Mammon's way as well as buying games and snacks I ran out of what little money I had. I sighed as I put away my wallet since ordering take out clearly wasn't an option I started helping Mammon look for more food. After a few minutes of searching, we heard someone enter the kitchen and we both stopped our search for food and turned to see who it was. I gulped nervously as Mammon and I stared at Beelzebub who was staring intently at the empty pudding cup and note we carelessly left on the counter with his eyebrows furrowed. Mammon spoke up as he let out a nervous chuckle "Sup Beel how ya doin'? That trash was there before we got in here I swear!" Beelzebub's heated stare moved to Mammon as he spoke before he let out a growl and shifted to his demon form. Mine and Mammon's eyes widened at this. "We're so fucked!" I said in a shaky voice as I backed away from Beezlebub. "Whoa, there buddy calm down!"  said Mammon as he held his hands up in a defensive manner. Beezlebub growled again before charging at Mammon while aiming a punch at his face thankfully he quickly jumped out of the way but Beelzebub couldn't stop in time so he punched down the wall that separated my room and the kitchen and I mean he absolutely obliterated it and like 95% of my room was just reduced to rubble. I stared at the gaping hole in the wall and my trashed room in awe and surprise. Mammon paled at the sight of it before saying "Lucifer is gonna kick our asses." Beelzebub seeing that he didn't hit Mammon snapped out of his small stupor at seeing my trashed room and wall before he shifted back to normal with a frown on his currently pale face. "Oh no" Beelzebub mumbled as Lucifer came storming into the room red eyes ablaze with fury. "What in the hell happened here?!?" All three of us paled and broke out into a cold sweat while staring at Lucifer. Mammon was the only one who spoke up "It wasn't me I swear! Beel freaked out and attacked me and the human!" I frowned a little at that since he was putting all the blame on Beelzebub but as I tried to speak up Beelzebub beat me to the punch and said in a sad tone while frowning  and fiddling with the ends of his shirt not making eye contact with Lucifer "I didn't mean to destroy the kitchen and Elizabeth's room but you ate the pudding I was saving and all I saw was red." Lucifer sighed and said "Three-hour lecture begins in a few minutes in my study but first since Elizabeth's room has been destroyed she needs to stay with someone else" He looks at Beezlebub then continues "Beelzebub as punishment for destroying her room she shall stay with you until its repaired understood?" Beelzebub nodded while Mammon yelled "What?!? Why can't the human room with me?!? Beelzebub might eat her!" Lucifer glared at Mammon and said in an icy tone "Mammon, He won't eat her now shut up and get to cleaning since this was your fault" Mammon didn't speak just and glared at the floor. After that Lucifer ushered all three of us into his office and lectured us nonstop for three hours straight. Me and Beezlebub exited Lucifer's study after our three hours were up but sadly for Mammon, he couldn't stay awake and Lucifer caught him dosing off which earned him two more hours. "Poor Mammon I hope Lucifer isn't too rough on him." I said as I walked back to my room with Beelzebub following me. "Lucifer has done worse to him so he'll survive." Beelzebub said in a small voice while looking guiltily at his feet. "Sorry for eating your pudding Beel... me and Mammon were really hungry... Hell, I'm still absolutely starving." I said as I packed whatever remained of my clothes into a bag. "It's okay... I just feel bad about destroying your room and belongings over pudding." I smile at him as finish packing my bag and zip it up "It's fine it'll be repaired in a few days besides we get to be roomies for a bit and that could be fun." Beelzebub smiled a bit and said "Yeah, it could be fun." then lead me to his room and we went inside.
