Chapter Nine

LOUVILLE

“I know my sorry won’t do anything from what my brother did Louville no sorry can justify how asshole he is but still I’m sorry” Kuya Rain sincerely said.

“Don’t be sorry Kuya, si Storm and may kasalanan sa akin he should be the one who ask for an apology” I said.

Kuya Rain let out a deep sigh. It takes minutes before he spoke again.

“You know what, I wonder both of you always push the right button to explode malambing ka naman na bata simula noon, well Storm is given that his asshole sometimes but he love Erin so much for you to be treated this way. He practically saw you grow up he must care for you the way we care for you Louville” Kuya Rain said and I don’t know what to say I just keep my eyes on the buildings we pass by.

I really don’t know what happen to us, me and Storm before are not like this. Nilalambing ko silang apat noon pag may kailangan ako. Storm is one of the person indulge me a lot, but what happen?  We are like mortal enemies now. I heave a deep sigh. We are like opposite poles now.

“Wait, is that Indiigo’s car?” Kuya Rain said while slowing down.

They saw Indiigo sitting on the pavement with mineral water on his side.

“Kuya, kindly stop the car please”

When Kuya did, I get out from the car, I already know what the problem is.

“Hey, parked in wrong place again?” I asked as Indiigo watch his car being towed. When he saw me he smiled.

“Lovie! Can I ride with you?” he beamed

“Hop in!” pinagtitinginan talaga ito sa gilid ng kalsada.

“Oh, Hi Kuya Rain” Indiigo greeted

“You are still useless on parking Indiigo” natatawang puna ni Kuya Rain, napakamot naman ito ng ulo.

“Oo nga eh” Indiigo just agreed.

“Lovie, can I used your phone I will just call Levie to pick me in your place?” I handed him my phone and I close my eyes I’m really sleepy.

But fate really has its own way of fucking my life. When I found out a woman awaits me at home.

“Louville, how are you my granddaughter” nagmano muna ako bago sumagot.

“I’m fine Abuela”

“Prepare yourself, we will be preparing your wedding with Storm” gulat man sa dali ng pangyayari I have nothing else to say but “Yes, Abuela”and she leave to rest.

I sadly look at Mom and Dad but when I saw how sad they look I smile at them. I know it’s not easy for them also. I am their only daughter and child. I weakly hug my parents.

“Anak..” my Mom started to cry.

“It’s okay Mom, I will be alright think about this you will have a grandchildren soon” I said trying to sound happy. I was the only child because Mom’s suffer from complications when she had me causing her two ovaries to be removed. My Dad ruffled my hair.

“You are always my Princess Louville always my baby” Dad said emotionally as he kissed my forehead.

I go to my room to change and sleep but before I goes to sleep I remind my bodyguard not to tell my parents what happened between me and Storm. I don’t want to worry them they are already sad.

The next day, we are all sitting on the table while they talk the details of our wedding. I avoided Storm like a plague and he seems not to put any effort to talk to me. We are sitting there like a zombie, and of course the family doesn’t mind at all and this union is like a business partner there is no feelings involve. It’s fucking hard to be the sacrificial lamb.

The wedding is set three months from now, and I was not like the one who will get married I just sat down and listen to the preparation, madalas pa nga akong tulala. Napukaw lang ang aking diwa ng tumunog ang cellphone ko.

“Hello Indiigo”

“Are you okay?”

“Yes, I’m fine don’t worry”

“Let’s unwind later, Line Arrow?”

“Yes, I guess I need that” I said it and we bid goodbye with each other.

I choose a red dress, mas lalong tumingkad ang aking maputi na balat sa kulay nito. It was perfectly fit in my curves as I curl the end of my straight natural hair. I put a red lipstick on and I’m ready to go. Nang palabas na ako nakasalubong ko sa may hallway ang Mom ko.

“Who’s with you Louville?” she asked

“Indiigo Mom” I said as I kiss her cheek

“Louville..I think…” I can sense the protest from his voice

“It’s just Indiigo Mom, don’t worry” I said and turn to leave. I know what my Mom thinking and I just want to unwind, Indiigo is my friend alangan naman si Storm ang yayain ko di nag away lang kami. At ang weird din kaya.

The bar was crowded when we get in, I know eyes are on me but I’m too busy to care.

“You see that woman over there?” I asked Indiigo

“Yes, she kept staring at me and I don’t like her” Indiigo just stated flatly

“Pogi problems?” I made a little giggle, he just shrugged.

To be honest Indiigo is really handsome, he have the Middle East royal blood, his a complete head turner after all. Peru siguro dahil lagi kaming magkakasama sa school kaya di ako naattact sa kanya. I am immune to his sex appeal.

“Lovie, your wedding will be in three months are you sure about this?” he suddenly opened up

“Do I have a choice?” I taste the bitter taste of my wine and the bitterness of my situation

“You will always have a choice Lovie”

“What good my choice will bring on me?”

“Freedom” he look directly in my eyes like he was seeing my crying soul within.

I laugh bitterly again..

“On the expense of what? My family?”

“Family will always be there Lovie, they will understand because they love you”

Napatingin ako sa sinasabi niya, I stare in his eyes.

“You’re implying?”

“run from everything Lovie” he whispered on my ear, tempting  me.

“run with me” he added.

For a second I’m loss of words then I turn to the bartender.

“Gio, give me something I can’t even handle”

Then everything became hazy and blurry, I am even seeing Kuya Kai but in fuzzy shadow.

Then I woke up in unfamiliar place, my clothes were change to pajamas, my head was throbbing as I look around the corner of the room it’s suddenly familiar to me, to prove my doubt I stand to check the bathroom and I was right.

This house is one of the guest room in the de Cuesta Mansion, this also where I and Erin will hide from Hunter if we are going to surprise him. So, who take me here? Indiigo is out of the option this will be the last thing he will do and I can’t remember anyone. Shit!

Then the door opened,

There I saw the devil incarnate, standing at the door looking at me like I did horrible to him.

I raised my brow

“What I am doing here?”
