Chapter Eleven

LOUVILLE

When the date of the wedding is getting nearer the level of my anxiety gets also higher and no it was not a wedding jitters. Madalas di na ako makatulog ng maayos,

“Here milk for you” Indiigo said.

“Thanks, but I need wine”

“Lovie, you can’t just drink and drink until the day of your wedding, sa simbahan nga tuloy mo peru di ka naman na wedding gown, naka kabaong ka na” he said and I rolled my eyes.

I really felt suffocated.

“Indiigo, I feel I will regret this in my entire life” I truthfully said. He look at me intensely

“the offer still stand Lovie all you have to do is say yes” he seriously said.

I look at him too the same ferocity he was giving me.

“Tell me Indiigo, do you like me?” I ask him, of course I need to ask him this.

“If I said yes, will you run away with me?” he ask back,

“Indiigo..” suddenly my mind became fuzzy of words to say

“I’m just here Lovie offering you freedom from everything, I will go against the world for you”

“are you confessing right now?” mas lalo akong naloka

“If that’s what you call it” he said and I know he was honest.

I heaved a deep sigh, “Ookay..now, the more I am confuse” I honestly said to him. He hold my hand above the table.

“ Lovie, I’am not forcing you to run away with me, I just give you option, we both know how powerful your family are, you need me Lovie, you don’t have to do their bidding it’s not your job” I like Indiigo for he is very honest and rational. God. I am so confuse right now. It took minutes of silence before I look at him. Bahala na si Batman.

“ Indiigo”

“Hmmm”

“Please help me”

He stared at me for a minute, the he smiled

“Okay Lovie, I am at your service”

Months passed like days, what I did before feels like long time ago, I smiled when I heard that they already came.

I hurried my steps as a chirping voice echoed calling

“Mommy….”

“Be careful Hero you will trip” I worriedly said as he run to me.

I immediately scoop him in my arms and kiss her chubby cheeks, his fluffy and chubby boy.

“How’s my little Hero doing in the whole trip” I cheekily ask him and all he did was kissed me on cheeks too while giggling.

“You really spoiled her” I turn around and kiss his cheeks.

“I miss you too, wag ka ng magtampo please” he took Hero from me after he settled the grocery on the refrigerator.

“I want to stay with Mommy” Hero suddenly wail, his helpless as he shake his head and I laugh while getting Hero from his arms.

“Now, you cook for our launch I just have to indulge this spoiled little man” I said and he grunted.

“You’re not a good Mother” nagtatampo nitong sabi peru dumeritso sa kusina.

I look at Hero while he was looking at me his face is expectant and I am weak when this little guy look like this, he really have all the genes from his father no one can deny.

After launch, we talked randomly and played again with Hero until he falls asleep.

“Are you okay?” he asked me as he stared on my eyes. I nodded. Yeah I was now living with what I want what’s there not to be happy? He look at me intently and he sigh.

“He keep looking for you just so you know” I nodded because I’m not surprise.

We talk again randomly until Hero stirred.

“Mommy..”

“Yes, baby”

“Milk” the cute little fella said in groggy voice as he lazily open his eyes.

“There you go little man” he smiled and look at him with so much love in his eyes.

I can say, I made the right decision in my life, I realize that I really need to grow, I really need to be the person I wanted to be. I have to be honest with myself.

“Always lock the doors, don’t open a stranger okay and call me…”

“when something goes wrong” I finish what he about to say it was already by book.

“I’m deadly serious Sugar”

“Yeah I know, take good care Hunter and bye bye Hero, see you next week alright?” my heart torn to pieces as I look at his swollen eyes because he doesn’t want to go.

“Mommy can you come with us?” I smiled at him

“No, baby but you will come back next week right? we are going to play baseball” he just sadly nodded my poor little Hero.

“Take good care you two, sige na Hunter mag-ingat sa pagmamaneho call me when you get home” I said as I give them a kiss on the check.

I watch the car leave and now I am alone again. When my laptop messenger rang I immediately answer it.

“Lovie..”

Agad akong napasimangot, “ anong oras ka ba uuwi? nasa opisina ka parin?”

“I will go home soon, I miss you that is why I called you”

“Good job Mr. Sahjid now you know how to flatter someone” I laugh at him and he squint his eyes,

“So, are you saying I don’t know how to sweet-talk  a girl?” napakunot bahagya ang noo nito.

“Whatever Indiigo, go home already” I said and I turn off the camera and I laugh hard reading his private message “SAVAGE!”

I inhaled deeply, maybe I did terrible decision and I am a selfish person I have so much realization as the days goes by living here in Italy, I also knew that my family knows my whereabouts but for the fact that they didn’t drag me home I can’t stop thinking that they might be mad at me. I am afraid to know that I was disown already from my mother side by I am also an Eldea and I have enough to feed myself whenever I go. I miss my family but according to Hunter they are fine, maybe they are checking on me from time to time. Maybe Abuela will fried me alive if she knows my whereabouts I will really be thankful for me being an Eldea that I am not yet a friend human till now.
