I knew from the moment I saw you
that you were gonna be special to me
then I got sick and I couldn't see,
you were the light that guided me.
You protected me from my biggest fears,
helped me to get through them saying I'm here,
you hugged me when I needed you most,
and held my hand when walking down the street.
You made my days brighter, I'll have to admit
that you're my sunshine and I couldn't be
half of what I am today without you,
