A/N: This is part 2! I'm excessively satisfied because this is exactly 1000 words.

Nico POV

I was really impressed with myself, I must say, for having kept my mouth shut all day around Will. He didn't seem to notice if I was acting suspicious at all, he was sort of pensively wrapped up in his own world. Which is a good thing, because although I didn't confess my feelings to him, I'd found out that I definitely wasn't good at hiding romantic feelings- especially once I'd admitted to myself that those were, in fact, romantic feelings.

Anyways, I was currently at the campfire where Will and the rest of the Apollo cabin were doing the classic campfire songs. Everyone was in a good mood; the crackling flames had risen high as everyone was singing 'Down by the Aegean'.

As usual, they were slaying it and as usual, I was skulking around in the shadows, leaning against a tree and trying not to be seen, as I watched Will and slightly smiled. As usual, Percy put special effort into trying to see me in the shadows, and decided to join me.

I didn't mind, Percy is a generally comforting presence to have around. He and Annabeth are the two people who actually know what life was like after coming back from Tartarus. I've known him for so long, he knows mostly everything I went through after Bianca's death. I appreciated him more after the war and we grew to be close friends.

Wait, hang on! I was telling a story! Right. Forgot about that for a minute. Dear Wattpad readers, let's just continue with the story, and forget I spent an entire paragraph talking about Percy.

Anyways, Percy came up behind me and said 'boo', which wasn't really a smart idea- I was aware of my surroundings and I could see him through the shadows (being a son of Hades really does pay off sometimes).

I turned around. "Really?"

Percy shrugged and grinned comically. "Well, it was worth a shot."

"No dude, it wasn't. Trust me."

"Fine, never mind. Buzzkill." I let his playful insult slide. Percy put his hands in his jean pockets and leaned against the side of the tree. You could tell he wasn't leaving any time soon.

I looked back at Will, who was in his natural habitat. His main talent has always been for healing, but he's good at music. His eyes were sparkling, full of joy. I would have probably stared at it for ages if Percy hadn't interrupted my thoughts. "Anyways...um, you and Will...what's going on with you guys?"

I froze. "...what do you mean what's going on between us? There's nothing 'going on' between us, he's just a friend, you know, like you, or Annabeth or-"

Percy cut me off, "I know, I know. Sure, he's just a 'friend'. It's totally normal to leer amorously at a 'friend'. Definitely."

"Okay, one- I didn't think you knew what 'amorously' meant." I said, as Percy looked at me indignantly, "And two- what do you mean I was leering at him? When?"

Percy said, "Okay, first off, I know what 'amorously' means! Not all my smart-sounding vocabulary comes from Annabeth! Second, you were leering at him, like, just now. Amorously. And I think you should know, he might like you back."

I stared at him for a moment and then tentatively asked, "You actually think so?" Percy nodded.

'Could he actually like me back?'  I pushed the thought away. That would be too good to be true. I couldn't raise my hopes just to be shot down in the end.  Then again, what if- no, no, no, no, no, not happening. Why would he like me? I'm just...me. Of course he wouldn't have liked me back.

The Apollo cabin's performance ended. Will joined us and said this- "Uh, Nico, can I talk to you for a minute?"

Percy stopped leaning against the tree and said, "See you later, then. Bye." He smirked and winked vivaciously at me before leaving. Only Percy.

Will turned to me, his blond hair slightly disheveled. "Okay, so here's the thing...I'm not going to beat around the bush, I'll just say it."

"Okay..." I replied, unsure of what he was going to say. "Go on."

"Okay...here goes..." Will was sweating a bit now, as I could see through the shadows. Then he suddenly blurted out, "I like you!"

My expert reply was, "Wait, what?" I couldn't believe my ears. He liked me? No joke? Actually?

Will spoke slower, in a low voice. "I like you...romantically...and I know you don't feel the same way, but-"

I cut him off. "What? Of course I feel the same way, sunshine boy. How could you possibly think I didn't? Will, I like you too. And in all honesty, I'm surprised you didn't notice."

Will's jaw had dropped. "Wow. You do? Oh my gods, I can't believe it! This is...this was...wow."

I felt the same, but I replied to that with a sarcastic comment, because that's what I'm like.

"Articulate as always, Solace."

Will chuckled and the skeletal butterflies that always haunt me when I'm around him started flapping even faster and flying everywhere. "So..." I awkwardly said, "Are we dating now? What's our, um, 'relationship status', or whatever?"

Will grinned. "Well, I'd say we are currently in a relationship. What will actually happen, I have no clue. We'll just figure out as we go along, I guess. Do I call you boyfriend now? That'll take some getting used to."

"Not boyfriend."

"Would you prefer 'significant other'?"

"Significant annoyance in your case."

Will laughed that cute laugh of his.

I took hold of his hand and we just stood there, leaning against that tree and looking at the night sky. I was still processing everything that had just taken place.

I couldn't believe it. It had finally happened. Will Solace was my boyfriend.
