A/N: Okay, here we go.

"Ah, Louis, I expect that you got rid of Nick Grimshaw?" Louis' boss, Stan, asked with a grin.

"When have I ever let you down?" Louis smirked, placing his hand out. "That being said, you've also never let me down when it comes to payment."

"As long as you keep up the good work, we'll pay you adequately," Stan chuckled, handing Louis the wad of cash. "Good job, once again. Your next victim is Harry Styles. He is...um...different than anyone that you've ever dealt with before."

"What exactly do you mean by that? Is he extremely fat?"

Stan laughed nervously. "No, not at all. He's just... Well, you'll see. I'm sure it won't affect your work though. You should be fine. Trust me," he continued, looking down at the piece of paper on his desk with a sly smile.

Louis smiled and walked out of the room. Zayn and Liam were waiting for him right outside in the secretary's office like always. They knew what he did because they did the same thing. They weren't as highly ranked as Louis, but Zayn was close. Liam wasn't as close because of his soft spot that got in the way occasionally. Zayn had one, too, but he was better at hiding it then Liam. Louis, on the other hand, had no soft spot that anyone was aware of. He could kill without feeling any condolences towards anyone. He was a stone cold killer, and he didn't give a shit about anything.

"Who'd you get for your next kill?" Zayn asked, as they walked towards their flats.

"Some kid named Harry Styles. I'll have to look him up when I get home," Louis shrugged.

"I know him!" Liam exclaimed. "He's Nick's friend. Or was."

Louis laughed, fist bumping Zayn. "Another job well done. Anyone going for a smoke?"

"Yeah, I need one. Have to kill this poor girl that accidentally witnessed Olly killing someone. Poor thing," Liam admitted.

"I know you're coming, Zee."

"Always do," Zayn agreed.

They went up to Louis' suite-like flat and walked out to the balcony where Louis passed out the cigarettes. Louis pulled out his phone as Zayn lit his and looked up Harry Styles. Harry had a lot of social media accounts. He was practically begging for it. Harry seemed to enjoy posting pictures on Instagram a lot which was the best for Louis. Louis was skilled at getting whereabouts from Instagram. If it had been Tumblr or iFunny, Louis would've needed to get help. There was almost nothing Louis hated more than getting help.

Louis clicked on Harry's Instagram profile and looked over the pictures. Harry was younger than Louis by at least four years since he was about to start university. He also seemed to like wearing flower crowns over his chocolate curls and a paleness to his skin that accentuated his green eyes perfectly. So that was why Stan thought Louis might have a little trouble. Harry looked much more innocent than anyone that Louis had ever killed before. He also seemed to have a lot of female friends. Louis assumed that the kid was gay. Harry was lucky that Louis was assigned to kill him and not anyone else. Louis wouldn't make fun of the kid's sexual orientation since he had the same one himself. Many of the other hitmen were homophobic assholes that Louis would have hated if he felt the emotion anger easily.

"Is that your victim?" Zayn asked. "He's adorable."

"I suppose," Louis said, shrugging his shoulders. He was feeling strange. He had never felt this way towards anyone before. Did he actually have a crush on his victim? Louis had never had a crush on anyone before. Didn't crushes go away quickly? Louis hoped so. Or else killing this boy wouldn't be as easy as it usually would have been.

"He's cute, mate," Liam agreed. "Look at all of those flower crowns. No wonder no one else would take him."

"No one else would take him?" Louis asked.

"Nope, we were both asked but we said no. Should've figured that you'd be their only option. Everybody else has a heart," Liam joked.

"Shut the fuck up," Louis laughed, punching Liam in the shoulder. "I see why people didn't accept. I guess he's cute. I can still kill him though," Louis said, taking a drag of his cigarette.

"Shit, I gotta go. I've got my first date with Sophia," Liam said, standing up. "See you tomorrow. Come on, Zayn. You promised that you'd help me get ready."

"Why did I ever promise that?" Zayn joked, standing up and waving to Louis.

Louis waved back and walked them to the door. "Good luck, Zayn. Last time I helped Liam prepare for a date, I almost got a black eye."

Zayn gulped visibly, but Liam rolled his eyes. "Don't listen to him. Louis' just being a dickhead like usual."

"Bye, Lou!"

"Bye, Zee," Louis said before closing the door and throwing away the unlit butt of the cigarette.

He flopped on his couch and looked at the location for Harry's most recent Instagram post. Holmes Chapel, United Kingdom. That wasn't too far from London. Only a few hours.

Louis looked at the actual post to see that Harry was just visiting his mum. The kid had taken a selfie with her, flower crown and all. Louis moved to the next picture, captioned, 'home sweet home'. Louis shook his head at Harry's naivety when he realized that Harry had tagged the location to London. At least Louis knew that Harry lived in London.

Louis wondered if he would come up with a strategy for killing the boy or just wing it. With many of his prior kills, the perfect opportunity had come around, and Louis had taken it. However, other kills required more scheming. Those weren't difficult, per se. They just took more time. It wasn't like Louis had a life outside of the mafia, though, so it was all right.

Louis would simply see where the wind took him and go from there.

A/N: Louis' emotions are complicated, but they will be explained to a further extent later. All you really need to know for now is that most of them have just been dulled. Only a few are completely gone. As stated previously, the reason behind this will be explained a little later on.
