When Sam Tompkins sings “I don’t wanna die but I don’t feel like living either” (song: Follow Suit), I really feel that. And maybe a lot of you out there feel it, too. I just want you to know that it is okay. Life can be pretty tough and sometimes it can be so tough that you do not want to face it anymore. Everything seems hard and unbearable and you cannot find joy in anything. It is okay. You are not lost, you are not a hopeless case and your time is not wasted. I know it can feel as if you will never ever escape this dark place again, but you will, believe me. You will find something to enjoy, to make you laugh, to make your heart beat in joy again - but for now it is all about not being too hard on yourself and not giving up.
