Seaborn's Point of View:

My name is Seaborn Le Pancras, the only child of the Emperor Obellius Orrin Le Pancras and the late Concubine Antigone Siren. I am currently in the Rebbelou Palace, being prepped up by my personal butler. Supposedly, I am to move into the Windshire Palace because of my disqualification of being Emperor. But the Lady Katherine told me privately, that she was the one who suggested it to Father because of the Imperial Princess' lack of social connection. She was worried Princess Venice was lonely, so she picked me to be her playmate.

As I get into the extravagantly decorated carriage that came to pick me up, I wondered what the princess would be like. A spoiled, undignified brat? No. Lady Katherine told me, Princess Venice was a unique child. She spent her time talking about the princess during our talk. On how the princess preferred to read books and learn rather than go to tea parties. She also told me that the princess had hidden inside the empire's cold palace just to escape from going to a noble's birthday party.

Indeed, I am very curious as to who this princess really is.

It took about two hours until the beautiful quartz palace came to sight. We entered what seemed like a gate made out of pure gold, before circling a humungous fountain with a statue of a beautiful mermaid holding an urn. The pathway was made out of marble and different sculptures of birds outlined it. Maa~ It certainly earned its name as the Imperial Palace.

I get out of the carriage, and what greeted me was a line of maids and butlers bowing. Something I felt uncomfortable with. I have never had this much attention, especially in Rebbelou Palace where I shared my position with my cousins. I'll need to get used to this, I am the newly appointed Prince of this empire, which means I need to act like one.

Arriving inside the throne room, I see two heavenly individuals. First, was my father, who was adorned in white clothing and a black Fur cape dangling just a few centimeters off the floor. His white milky hair had sweeper to the side of his face, covering his left eye. But it didn't stop him from giving such a cold stare from the visible ocean blue eye.

While Lady Katherine gave off a more welcoming ambiance. She was wearing a white strapless dress that was showered in gold embroidery. Her bare collar was covered by a red scarf that reached her mid-thighs, seemingly the same height of her curly long blonde hair that was adorned in gems of all kinds.

They really deserve the title of emperor and empress with how they look. Even Father, who I have only seen on my 3rd Birthday, was still young and vibrating of youth.

"Greetings to the Emperor Obellius and Empress Katherine. I am honored to be here and you as my audience." I greeted bowing, using all the wasted knowledge I harbored for the position of Emperor.

The two seemed impressed. Yes, this is what I've learned from idiotic tutors.

"No need to address us as such Seaborn dear. You are now our son, so feel free to welcome us with Mother and Father." The rumored goddess, Lady Katherine said smiling ever so warmly that it made me feel fuzzy. My Deceased mother couldn't do.

The doors behind us then open, and out came the cutest and most adorable girl I've ever seen. Her white puffy hair that reached the floor jumps every step she took. She was wearing a maroon dress that was decorated with light black diamonds, with an average-sized black bow that was situated at the back. A silver tiara on top of her head with a heart-shaped ruby at the center.

Four words. A. Real. Life. Doll.

"Venice, meet Seaborn Le Pancras. He'll be staying in the Windshire Palace from now on. Since his candidacy has now been disqualified, he is now allowed to stay. Please show him where he can and can't go." The cold tone of father didn't seem to bother her as she smiled cutely, her head nodding slightly.

"Is that all father?" Her voice was high-pitched, just like any normal child's voice. But the difference was the maturity and self-dignified tone it had, a voice suited for a proper woman.

"And please get along well." Was what Lady-- Err, Mother added. Her smile still as warm as ever

Giving another nod, The doll-- I mean my sister pulls me out. And as the doors behind us close, she asks me if I was okay. I heaved a sigh before pouting slightly," Man father was scary."I replied.

Venice seemed conflicted, so I immediately introduced myself." My name is Seaborn Le Pancras. You can call me Big brother!"

With me mentioning the big brother part, she beamed as I stop myself from closing my eyes because of how blinding she was. After that, she showed me around. I was amazed by how big the Windshire Palace was. It was like 5x bigger than the Rebbelou Palace! And what I had my eyes on was their kitchen. It was the size of three ballrooms!!

I blushed when I hear Venice giggling. Maa~! I lost composure! Damn kitchen.

While we were having a break, I noticed the book she was reading. Law Book? Does she really want to become Empress? Ah!

"I heard you're going to participate in the selection. Do you want me to tutor you?" I offered.

I'm great when it comes to society's laws and loops. It's one of the subjects I'm really good at. Not that I'm bragging. It's just a waste that Lady Antigone, was assassinated. It must be the work of those filthy cousins of mine. They'd go to the extreme just to secure their position. A season why I've never get along with them. Well... Maybe because they also pushed me down the stairs. The answer I gave Venice as she asks why I offered her help.

~"-"~

My hands shook nervously as I paced back and forth outside of Father's office, where he's currently confronting Venice on why she broke a rule. Ugh, I knew I shouldn't have gone with her. This is all my fault! What if he won't let her eat for a week?! What if she'll be whipped just like my cousin?!

"Ne big brother. Why are you so jumpy?"

I flinched as I see my little sister, a smile on her face. I quickly held her shoulders," Maa~ How did it go biscuits? Did he punish you?" I asked trying to act calm, only to call her biscuits. I'm an idiot.

"First of all, do you really need to call me biscuits? Second no, he says we can do whatever as we please from now on."

"Ahh... I just made it up. You remind me of cream biscuits, my favorite pastry that comforts me after I cry." I lied as she giggles. Did she found me out?

Well, my favorite pastry is cookies. But cream biscuits sounds nice.

"Ne big brother. Are you going to go to your classes now??" Venice asks as those adorable doll eyes stared at me.

C. U. T. E.

I chuckled," How can I say no to my little biscuit?" I cooed.

Surprisingly, she tackled me into a hug. I could smell the vanilla and strawberry shampoo she was using. A smile appears on my face as I hug her back. It's been a while since I've last felt this feeling. The feeling of being in someone's arms. Venice is someone I treasure. And I will never let her get hurt. I don't know why, but the fact she'll be participating as a candidate makes my stomach drop whenever I think of it. Being part of something so dangerous, I'm worried about her. She's the only person I can trust right now. I don't want to lose her as I did with Lady Antigone.

"Promise your big brother that you'll win the selection. And be the empress." I murmured... She nods slowly, burying her head on the crook of my neck as I lean my head on hers.

I'll make sure she becomes the empress. I'll make sure of it.
