"Welcome to the Welcoming Ceremony of Serene Heights!"The Mc's voice boomed around the stadium as the chatter died out..

Today was the Welcoming of 1st Years and Recognition of 3rd Years..A ceremony held at the biggest indoor stadium of Serene Heights..A party to be specific..Everyone was tasked to dress formally..Not only for show but for the chance to be able to have the title of,'Serene Queen'

"As you all know, Serene Heights is one of the most popular and high standard schools in the country of Vatican..Not only that, but this school is know for its countless prodigies and great mana holders!"

The students cheer before silencing once more as the Mc raises his hand,"Without further ado!I shall now tell you the list for this school year!Starting off with the first years!"

The Mc takes a long pause, staring profusely at the list..On top of it was Venice's name highlighted in red..He glanced at the Head Master who shook his head sadly..

"Eherm..Due to some..Issues..The highest scorer and mana user had withdrawn from her agreement..So we'll be moving on.."

Whispers and murmurs spread across the stadium..The Mc cleared his throat before announcing,"Illiya Veridian from Evergreen Middle School!Class: Dragoon!She is a prodigy, having the second most biggest mana pool in the country and having high academic performance!"

A petite black haired girl walked on stage..Her eyes were tinted in an ocean color holding fire in it..She crossed her arms smirking proudly..

In the crowd, a few boys swooned over the girl..Saying she was cute and kind looking..One girl behind stage though,didnt like Iliya one bit..

'Doesn't she know wearing all black means the sign of death right?I thought she was a smart ass..Tch..'She thought as she walks near the entrance of the stage..
