‘What. The. Fuck. WhattheFuck. Nononononono.’
No. This couldn’t be happening, right?
Sat upright on the bottom-bruising, almost rock hard couch (no couch should bruise your bottom) of the St Vincent’s hospital was a shaking, 6’4, eighteen year old Luke Hemmings; wrapped like a man-child burrito in a scratchy blanket, hands jerking violently as he attempts to bring his mug of suspiciously watered down, ‘luke-warm’ so called hot chocolate. The boy laughed raspily at his own pun, as for the third time, his hands failed him. The last few mouth fulls were spilt over his now drenched and clingy skinny jeans from the accident with him and Michael. Crap. Michael.
Why had he been so god damn stupid. Michael had tried so many times during that ride to get Luke to just shut up and not annoy him; but had he done that? Absolutely, positively not. The blonde had continued to keep the pair’s argument going, purposely poking and insulting Michael because he just knew everylittlething that would infuriate the now bright blue haired punk. Every word, every sound to come from Luke drove Michael to some sort of inhuman annoyance, and Luke knew it. So why hadn’t he just stopped there? Why hadn’t he stopped the minute some emotion other than anger, but rather worry, filled the rasped voice of Michael. The two, now out of school, had been going at it since ninth grade. No one knew why they hated eachother, not even themselves. But ever since they dropped out of school, along with their band’s Bassist and Drummer Calum and Ashton- they had to deal with the other.
Everything had been going, well, decent. The pair had somehow become best friends over the past three years. The band had really brought them together, and although they had fights here and there, both knew that at the end of the day anything hurtful wasn’t meant.
Until last night that is.
*Flashback*
“Shut up blondie. I so won that, you’re just too much of a whiny girl to admit it.” A low growl erupted from the back of Five ‘Seconds Of Summer’s guitarist Michael Clifford. As the car slowed to a stop at the next red light, a small smirk spread across Michael’s plump lips as he glanced across at lead singer Luke Hemmings, only to see the younger boy angrily squirming in his seat; lips set in a pout and abnormally long arms crossed tightly across his chest.
‘Geez, Luke really IS being a girl today’, Michael chuckled perhaps a little too loudly when the thought sprung to his mind.
It was a cold afternoon, the sky already dark with rain clouds that had been pouring down for the past ten minutes. Michael and Luke had just been playing video games all day, when they were called into the studio for some last minute recording; and now here they were. Michael driving, too fast for his best friend’s liking, and both of them arguing over what the other half of the band would call a stupid video game. But was Fifa, and who won the last round, ‘stupid’ for them? No. It was a life or death matter, leaving the two in the situation they were now. Back at eachothers necks, yelling so loud it wouldn’t be surprising if the life on mars could hear them.
Finally, the stop lights gave Michael the green light and he was off speeding again, leaving Luke a whimpering mess. Michael only sped when he was angry, and judging by his white knuckled grip on the steering wheel; Michael was A-N-G-R-Y. And Luke knew it was his fault. He had continued to poke fun and insult Michael, whom had given up and was now desperately trying to focus on the road, which was hard with Luke now trying to poke at his underarm.
It was only when out of the corner of Luke’s eyes, he noticed an out of control car swerve towards them that he stopped, freezing. Everything seemed to happen in slow motion. Michael’s name was shouted by Luke to look out for his side, Luke bumped Michael causing the two cars to collide at the same time, Michael leaned over to shield Luke. Then it was all over.
*End of flashback*

Hiya!
Okay, so for English class, we had to write a short story, right.
So I wrote this and uh, obviously didn't finish, so I don't know what grade I got; but I was wondering what you guys think of this? I haven't edited it or anything so it's probably crap, but I can go back and fix that (right)?
Anyway. If at least just a few people could maybe comment what you think, and if I should continue?
Not expecting a lot, just a few would be cool.
Love you.
