"Shit!"

"Finn? You okay?" Millie asked right after Finn said that. "Um yeah, fine."

"Did you see the post?"

"Sure did."

"What about the comments? Do you think there was like a reason they said that? Is there something wrong with the picture?" Millie asked quickly and nervously. "No, honestly I don't know why they would even say that. You're really pretty."

Millie grinned to herself, "Thanks.."

"Honestly, they're probably jealous." Finn said truthfully, still panicking over the fact that she would see he liked her post. She would flip out, the Finn Wolfhard, liked her post. What else was she supposed to think? Finn was looking at her post the exact same time Finn Wolfhard liked her post.
She would have to be that oblivious if she didn't realize it.

"I might just take it down, you know, so no one else can hate on it."

"No! I mean, no, then it will show them that it gets to you... you can't take it down."

"Yeah, but i'm just tired of seeing all of these comments. Like, I don't want to click on my notifications and see those all over again. So, i'm just going to delete it."

Finn was internally panicking, any second now.

Millie pulled her phone away from her ear and put Finn on speaker while she clicked on Instagram.

"Holy shit."

Finn cringed at himself, here it comes. "Oh my god. Finn."

"What?"

"Finn Wolfhard liked my post." Did she not realize it yet..?

"Yep."

"Wait what?" She asked, refreshing her screen to make sure it wasn't fake. "I said yeah."

"But how'd you know?"

"Because.. I liked the post??" How did that not click on her brain?

"What the hell?"
"what..?"

"You're Finn Wolfhard?" she asked in disbelief. "Yeah." He said, chuckling nervously. Now it hit Millie, that's where she knew his voice from. That's why his voice was so familiar. Why didn't even even suspect it?

Finn lived in canada, played guitar, everything. Why didn't she even think about it before?

"It all makes sense now. God. I am such an idiot." She mumbled. She was so embarrassed.

Finn was surprised though, she wasn't freaking out and being a total psychopath about it. "You aren't an idiot."

"I am though! I can't believe I didn't know. I mean, yeah your voice sounded so familiar, but I just didn't know where I knew it from. I'm so embarrassed, oh my god." She wanted to hang up and hide in a corner for the rest of her life.

As for Finn, he didn't really know what to say. What was he supposed to say? Yeah, you are an idiot. No way.

"Sorry, I'm probably stressing you out," she sighed. "It's very overwhelming."

"You aren't stressing me out," he chuckled, "i'm just glad you didn't squeal."

"Oh i'm trying not too. How could you not tell me though?"

"I don't know."

"Yes you do."

"I just wanted a friend who didn't just talk to me because i'm famous or whatever." He mumbled, knowing it seemed silly.

"Well, even though I know it won't change anything." Millie said making Finn smile. "Oh..good."

"I'm never going to get used to it though."
"Used to what?"

"Knowing that i'm talking to the Finn Wolfhard. Like, this is insane!"

Finn cringed, "Could you maybe not call me the Finn Wolfhard...?"

"Yeah, i'm sorry, sorry." She said quickly, remembering what he said about people treating him normally. "But now does it make sense that I didn't want to FaceTime?" he asked.

"Yeah, I get it. But oh my gosh, i'm going to your show in a few months!!" She exclaimed, already thinking about it. Maybe she could meet him, no she didn't have VIP tickets. Bummer.

"I'm excited to actually meet you." Finn admitted. "Too bad I don't have backstage passes."

"Who said you needed those? C'mon Mills, you think I wouldn't let you see me just because you don't have backstage passes?"

"I mean.. I'd get in trouble."

"Silly Millie," Finn chuckled, "It's my show, I can just give you passes."

"Really? You'd do that?" Millie asked. "Millie. Sometimes you have no common sense. I want to meet you, so yeah, I'd give you passes."

"Oh wow, thanks. I seriously can't wait for it. I hope this whole corona thing blows over by then."

"If I had to cancel my show, I would still come to see you." Finn said honestly, because he seriously did want to meet her. After talking to her for days and hours on end, he wouldn't mind spending some time with her.

Millie blushed, thank goodness he couldn't see her right now.
"Oh yeah?" She asked quietly. "Yep."

"Millie! Are you almost ready up there?" She heard her mother call from downstairs. Oh shit! She totally forgot she had to go to her Nana's today.

"Yeah, be down in a second!" She called back. "Finn, as much as I do not want to hang up, I have to. I forgot I had to go to my Nana's house." Millie muttered sadly.

"Oh, okay. Text me later?"

"Yeah, talk to you later. Bye!"

And just like that, she hung up.
