Millie waited impatiently for Finn to arrive. She held Winnie in her arms as she stared out of the front window. He said he was leaving around a half an hour ago, surely it doesn't take that long to ride a skateboard from the center of town all the way to her house. Which was located in the middle of nowhere.

Well, maybe it did.

She checked her phone again to see no new notifications from him. Where could he be? Hopefully he didn't get hit by a car.
Wait, what if he did and she just didn't know about it?

Millie put Winnie down on the ground and opened the front door so she could wait out on the porch. Hot air quickly hit her skin, it was incredibly humid today. Luckily, they would be staying inside for the most part.

She looked out onto the street and still saw no traces of him, and thankfully, no run over body. She lifted her phone up again and decided to text him, asking a simple 'where are you'.

Soon enough she saw a blurred figure coming down the street. Millie knew it had to be Finn. She smiled and ran off the porch and waited at the end of the driveway for him to stop in front of her. Finally, an out of breath Finn came to a skidding stop in front of her driveway.

He hopped off of his skateboard and leaned over so he could catch his breath. Why in the world did he not think of bringing a water on this long journey to her house?

"Finnie! You're here!" Millie exclaimed, quickly running over to him and nearly knocking him down with a forceful hug.

Finn chuckled at her happy welcome and didn't hesitate to hug her back. Millie pulled away and planted a quick kiss on his lips. Finn was taken back by surprise, that was something they're doing regularly now? He certainly isn't going to complain.

"Okay, let's go inside because it's hot as fuck." Finn said, he was also dying for something to drink. "Oh, right, right. Sorry." Millie giggled, not hesitating to pull him inside quickly.

It was immediately cooler inside of her small house and of course, Winnie was the second the greet Finn. She jumped around at his feet excitedly and scratched at his legs. Finn leaned down and picked up the small dog, receiving a face full of kisses from the small dog.

"Nice to see you too, Winnie." Finn chuckled as he put Winnie back down on the ground.

"Do you want something to drink? Or eat?" Millie asked, walking over to the kitchen. "I'll just have a water." Finn mumbled as he glanced around the house.

It was small but very cozy. Pictures lined the walls, dog toys were scattered around the floor and a few dog beds sat in the living room. Millie walked back over to him with a glass of ice water and handed it to him.

"I still can't believe you don't like Disney Princess movies." Millie chuckled. Finn shrugged, "They just aren't really my thing. Singing princesses, talking animals, magic.. I don't know."

Millie shook her head in disappointment, "Tisk, tisk! You are no fun! You probably saw like.. Sleeping Beauty and decided you didn't like Disney Princesses. Which I don't really blame you, Sleeping Beauty is kind of boring, which is why we'll watch Tangled! It's one of the best."

"I thought we were watching Beauty and The Beast?"

Millie shrugged, "Changed my mind! Now, let's go!"
