Alissay's pov

He has a girlfriend, that's what they found.
He bloody has a girlfriend?!
Like he is human cannot get any worse.

My heartaches, I know he doesn't know I existed but still I hoped he would atleast be single so it wouldn't be hard to deny the mate-bond.
Nothing can or ever will be able to resist the bond. It is blessed, obvious. But, him loving someone who is not me doesn't settle good with me.
I watched him talk to her through the phone. Hell, I couldn't control Alia. She growled getting him and me in surprise.
I had to hide faster but him beign a human couldn't sense my precence. It hurts my feelings too.
Damn I barely know him and am here craving for his touch.

"Earth to Lisa, we need to get back. "
Exclaimed Jaden.
I didn't realise I was staring at him until Jaden broke the silence. I soon regained my posture. I turned to Jaden.
"I can't bare the thought of him with someone elsa but me, Jade."
I murmured silently so only he could hear me.
"We should head back to pack so we can find a solution." I nodded.
I should leave this place before I forcefully claim him to be mine.
All this time Mr. PERVERT Chris has been trying to make chit chats with me but gets interrupted by Pablo backing him away. For once I didn't wanted to face anyone. Not even my own pack.
"We will leave now."

We walked straight to Carlson-my mate. He kept on staring at my eyes without blinking.
"Wow." He whispered but I heard it, thanks to my high hearing skills. I smirked getting him off-guard.

"Mr. Slith, we really thank you for your invitation. We are about to leave now. Thank you for your hospitality. We will meet soon. Until then. Good day." I extended my hand for a hand shake.
"We appreciate your precense Ms. Kruthern. Hoping to see you soon." He took my hand.
Sparks and electricity started to travel all over my body. My wolf started to purr. We are already head over heels for him.
He looked shocked and suddenly took his hand away. Taking me by surprise.
"I... Uh.. See you later."
I soon made my way back to the parking lot. It hurts alot. He doesn't even like our connection.
I got into the backseat and I screamed. I know I sound pathetic, but he is my mate for godsake.

"

How is this even possible?" Jaden asked concerned.
Damn, I don't have any idea either.
This is soo confusing.
"We have no other option. He is my mate and he will be your future Alpha." I replied giving a stern look toward my beta.
I can read his mind like an open book. Even Pablo looks confused.
If and only if my parents were alive. This could have been easier. They had solutions for all problems.
I miss them every day but I'm missing them worse now.

Pablo started to drive the car back to the pack. I can't even get his eyes off my mind. Goddess, please help me.

I started pacing in my room. He should be here by now. I don't know what is taking him so long. I can't think straight and it is irritating the hell out of me. I stopped pacing and took a long breath.

Everything has a solution. I will find a way or another.

-Alissay, I really miss him- Alia spoke for the first time after we have left his place.
-Even I miss him Alia, but things aren't normal in our lives already- I sighed.
-For just once, I wanted a normal love life- I can sense her pain. Afterall our souls are connected with each other.
-He will be with us soon Alia. Don't worry. I won't give up- I promised her.
She felt silent. I know she trust me. I will never break my promise.

"Lisa, I'm here. May I enter? " came a voice outside my door. I quicked my pace. I opened the door to come to face Jaden. The look on his face just says whatever he found is something I wouldn't like.
I made way so he could enter. I mindlinked Pablo to join. After about a minute Pablo entered my room closing the door.
I told him to take a seat on the couch in my room. He and Jaden both sat in silent.
These two men are the most trusted men among my pack. More like my family. The only ones I would trust without a second thought.

"Spill the beans." I gave a blank stare at Jaden, who hesitated first but took a breath and started.
"Will read the information but please be patient. So far all information is double checked and verified." I stayed balnk and made sure what ever he says is crystal clear.
"Name, as you already know, is Carlson Marcus Slith. Age 30. Orphan. Graduated at Cambridge in Business and Management. Current status, CEO of Barney's and sons pvt. No health issues. No involvement in any illegal affairs. No criminal records. Love nature."
"So far so good." I sighed.
"I'm getting to the important point Lisa. He do not have a girlfriend." I was literallily shocked. I smiled like a bloody joker. I sighed in relief. Atlast, some information in first place gone wrong.
"However, he has a fianceé." He dropped the bomb.
"Wait, wha..? "
"He is getting married in two weeks."
He went silent.
"You gotta be kidding me." I stood. I can't show weakness. I was fraustrated is an understatement. I went straight to the front wall and punched it. Leaving back a hole.
I wanted to cry so bad.
"Men please leave." I stated with no emotions and my back to them.

Something I never excepted happened next. Pablo came next to me and hugged me. I was shocked at first. But couldn't control myself as tears pooled my eyes and blurring my vision. I started to cry. Holding on to his chest like my life depended on it. Later Jaden joined us in silent. I'm a crying mess while they still stood there strocking my head. Jaden kept on saying soothing words in my ears.

I know what you are wondering, like am I crazy to cry over my mate just because my mate is getting married in two weeks?  The truth is yes. I mean I certainly did not want to end up like a side chick who want a engaged man. Secondly he is my mate. We get only one in a lifetime, so if he eventually get married to another women. I would end up mateless.
I do not want that. So I literallily have a point to cry.

This went on for awhile, I said them to give me some privacy for which they went away in silent leaving me alone.

Pity me.
