By the time leilani gets dressed and bags all in the car the time was 9:00, It took at least an hour to drive to the airport so leilani and her dad left then.
Lani and her dad have been talking here n there, shes still upset about the fact he didn't tell her nothing and in her mind she just feels like a burden which is why shes accepting his decision to send her away, cos not only will it "help her" but it will help her dad too.

"We have arrived at your destination" dad said
It seemed like such a long drive but finally we're here, I didn't sleep the whole way cos that's what the plane ride is for.
We parked and got my bags out and walked into the airport, we do the usuals and then we get some food before I have to go through the gate.
"This dosent even feel real" I say
"Oh it'll start to feel real when you start school" he says with a chuckle

"Being the new kid sucks" I say to my dad
"Dont worry, you will have chrissy and Bianca, just be yourself and think positive okay lani" said dad

I take one last look before walking in the gate and just like that. He was gone I boarded the plane found my seat and it was next to this boy with the nicest smile ever, he looked so familiar but I couldn't think from where
I was seated at the window seat and he was in the middle so I had to talk to him in order for him to let me through
