Jess POV

I feel someone hit my arm lightly "Hey, time to get up." I recognize the voice as Zekes and open my eyes.
"We're here, get up."
"Okay" geez could he be anymore grumpy?
I get up and walk to go and get my bag. I see my bag and start walking to go get it when I bump into someone.
"Sorry." As I try to walk away the man grabs my wrist and I feel it start to burn.
"Ow.."
"Are you Jessica Jackson? Answer me!" He screams
"Let go!" I say.
I look up and see his eyes are red. What!?
"Come with me!" He starts pulling me.
"No!"
"Shut up!" He hand goes up to slap me, I close my eyes and wait for the hit but I don't feel it. After a second I open my eyes and see Zeke with his hand on the other guys arm.
"Zeke.."
"Get off of her!" Zeke whispers to the guy and shoves him off of me I look at my wrist and see it burnt. The other guy flees. I look up at his eyes and see Zeke eyes aren't brown but purple. But the minute I see purple I blink and there brown again, weird...

"Are you ok?" Zeke as with concern, his eyes are filled with it to. That's a first.
"Ow... yeah I'm fine." I say trying to hide my arm.
But Zeke grabs my arm and sees the burn. "No your not!" I flinch. He must have noticed because his grip seems to let go a little bit. "Sorry come on let's get your bag and go to the bathroom to fix this." He says and starts walking to my bag.

After getting my bag we walk to the bathroom area and go by the sinks out in the front of the restroom and he sits me on it.
"Show me your arm."
I left my arm and he takes it gently a rolls my sleeve up so he can see the burn. He takes he bag that he's had since we meet and takes a first aid pack out. He puts ointment on it and wraps it up in bandages.

"There, all done." He says. I hop off the sink.
"Thanks it feels a lot better." I say and smile up at him.
"No problem." And I see something, him smiling.
Whoa!
"Your smiling!"
His smile disappears.
"No I'm not."
"Awww you were."
Zeke clears his throat and starts to walk away.
"Come on we gotta go."
I start to run after him. "Okay."

We go and get in a car and Zeke is driving towards the woods.
"If your going to kill me, at least give me a meal first."
"I'm not going to kill you, sorry." I hear him laugh.
"Hehe."

After very small talk in the car we pull up to a mansion. I look out the window in amazement.
"Wow it's so big!"
"It's bigger on the inside."
"No way!" I say and turn towards Zeke.
"Way!" He says mimicking me.
He parks the car and we get out. I get my bag and head for the front door with Zeke.
Zeke opens the door and I see my father.

"Hi dad."
"Hello Jessica." He hugs me. I don't hug back just stand there. I hear him sigh.
"Zeke take Jessica to her room and then the office so we can get down to business.
"Yes sir."
My dad walk away and Zeke walks me up some stairs and stops in front of a door.

"This is your room. Let's leave your bag here and go to the office." Zeke says.
"Okay." I put down my bag and start walking to this office.

"I brought her." He says walking in. I follow behind.

I see dad sitting in a chair and an older man behind a desk.
"Good job Zeke."
"Thanks uncle." Zeke says sarcastically. Uncle?

"Hello Jessica, please have a seat." I listen to the man Zeke called uncle and toke a seat by my dad. Zeke leaned on a wall.
"My name is Scott black, but you can call me Scott dear. Now your here because your father and I need to protect you, and Zeke will be by your side at all times."

"I'm sorry, what? Protect me? For what?" I ask clearly confused.
"William I think it's time you tell your daughter." Scott says to my dad.

My dad turns to me. "Jessica, you have a demon inside you that other demons want. The power that the demon has is special powers. And we need to protect you."

"I'm sorry, what kind of medicine have you took. Your not making any sense. A demon in me? How!"

"Your mother put it there, she cursed you when you were little." My dad says with sadness.

"Mom?"

"Let me tell you a story" dad says.
