Rose’s POV

“HE SAID HE WANTED ANSWERS” I pushed the strigoi up against the wall and pushed the silver stake on his face, until he choked out

“O-okay I-I’ll t-ta-talk” I dropped him and he gasped for breath. I left court to become my fathers guardian, this is what I do I help my father get answers and products, I also changed my name so I’m not Hathaway anymore it’s Mazur.

“Now who stole from me, and I want the truth you don’t want to make my daughter angry do you”

“No sir” the strigoi eyed me

“Then who stole from me”

“I d-did sir, your stuff is in the warehouse by the tower on 5th street” the strigoi looked at me and Abe nodded to me, I smiled

“Zeke” I called my psi hound, yes MY psi hound he ran up next to me and sat at my feet I grabbed the strigoi and slammed him to the ground, Zeke buried his teeth in the strigoi neck. Zeke has silver plates on the tips of his teeth so when he bites, it hurts like a bitch to the strigoi he screamed and screamed until Zeke had bitten his head clean off. I patted Zeke on the head and he rubbed up against me. Here is the story with Zeke and I. I was out one night doing something from my father and he limped was limping outside the brushline of the forest, I took him home and Abe said that we could keep him. Abe spent lots of money training him and yes I know that these are the same dogs that Victor tried to kill me with, also Victor isn’t alive anymore Abe sent some men and killed him. Anyway Zeke only listens to me, it’s funny when Zeke is on the couch and Abe tells him to get off and he just sits there staring at him.

“Let’s go home I will have some guys go to the warehouse and get my stuff you and I need to pack”

“Why?”

“We are going to court”

“And I ask again why?”

“Because I’m taking the queens place and you will be free again, you won’t have to be anyone's guardian ever again, just because your going to be the princess doesn't mean anything you can still act like yourself” I smiled and threw my arms around him, we don’t hug much but I do it sometimes.

“Abe”

“Yes” he looked at me after I pulled away

“I love you” he looked shocked but said

“I love you too my daughter” we went home and had dinner, packed and you know I have so many clothes I had to use five suitcases to hold everything, then went to bed I layed there with Zeke curled up beside me and one thought crossed my mind before I fell to sleep I’m going to see Dimitri tomorrow.
