I watched helplessly as Dimitri sank his fangs in Lissa's neck and drank the next thing I new I was staring into a pair of red eyes insead of green, Lissa was gone now a monster took her place, she smiled at me with fangs "What are friends for Rose" and she sank her teeth into me. I screamed and woke up Zeke picked up his head alert.

"What's wrong Ro" Zeke's words echoed through my mind, Okay I didn't tell you the whole truth, when I found Zeke he was dieing so I tryed to help him and I found out that I could heal him with the darkness I take from Lissa and we became bonded, but Lissa can't feel him I only can.

"I'm okay Zeke, just a bad dream" I patted his head 

“Want to go hunt” his words echoed again

“Ya, lets go” I was dressed in black leggings and a blood red tanktop, I let my hair fall down my back and I tucked my stake into my pocket and headed out, we jumped the wards and I thought to myself ‘I’m going to make one crappy princess’ we ran into  three strigoi in a cave close to court, they all came close to the opening but couldn’t walk out because of the sun, they were locked in there then one spoke.

“Are you Rose Hathaway?” I looked at him sideways

“Who wants to know”

“I do” a familiar voice says, he steps forward and I wanted to growl it was Nathan making four strigoi.

“I thought Dimitri killed you?!”

“Not by a long shot” and like that I ran forward and Zeke jumped on the girl and ripped he head off without a second thought I ran for Nathan but he pulled the guy in front of him and I ended up staking him then Nathan. Zeke was biting the guy that spoke to me first and he was screaming, Nathan grabbed me from behind and made me drop the stake my hands were pinned behind me and he wouldn’t budge

“What would Dimitri think if I awaked you right now” Nathan whispered in my ear

“Nothing I’m not with him anymore”

“To bad, I wanted to hear him scream”

“You won’t be hearing anyone scream but yourself” a deep voice said from behind and Nathan did scream and let me go, I turned around to find a figure wearing a black coat with a hood over it’s head

“Who are you?!?” the figure pulled off the hood to find a close close friend of mine from Ireland

“Shane Black” I said Shane stood about 6’1 he was muscular and skinny, his hair was jet black in a messy style and his eyes were green, and most importantly a dhampir.

“Far from home to pay a friendly visit”

“Heard you were becoming princess”

“And”

“And you can’t be princess without me baby” and Shane was also my boyfriend, Zeke sat by me and Shane yelled

“What's up Zeke” he patted his head and Zeke nudged him hard making him fall on his butt

“Still clueless” Zeke said, I giggled and I helped Shane up

“Now where is my kiss” I smiled

“Come and get it” he grabbed my waist and pulled me into his chest

“Got it” and are lips met heating up my body I pulled away and pulled him with me

“Abe is going to be happy you're here”

“He already knows, he is the one who brought me here”

“I love my dad”

“I do too”

“And I have a present for you”

“What is it”

“Not telling”

“Please” I beg

“Nope”

“Fine lets get back” we hopped over the wards and walked across the field, when we got into my room, Zeke fell asleep on the couch knowing the bed is taken

“I like this couch better anyways” his words drifted off as he fell asleep

“Now my present?” I asked

“Right here” he pushed a big box over to me, when I opened it I thought I was going to die it was a baby psi hound he was brown and had black eyes. I picked him up

"Where did you get him" 

"I found him in a dog sale, I asked the lady if he was for sale and she said he was too dangerous and was going to be deal with"

"Did the lady change her mind" I ask confused

"No, I stole him"

"Aw you did that for me"

"Everything I do is for you, and Rose he needs to be feed from a bottle, he isn't even supposed to be away from his mother yet"

"Well then lets get you a bottle, JJ"

"JJ?"

"Thats his name" I walked into the kitchen and found a bottle in the drawer and I heated up some milk he drained it dry. I held him like a baby and rocked him back and forth

“You would make a good mother” I looked up to see Shane leaning in the doorway watching me.

“You would make a good father”

“Aye lassie we agree on something” he doesn’t speak Irish much but when he does I think its really sexy.

“I know another thing we can agree about”

“And what is that”

“I missed you”

“I missed you too lass” I looked down at JJ, he was fast asleep in my arms I walked into the living room and layed him down by Zeke, he picked his head up and looked at the puppy who was resting against his side. I felt him smile and he laid his head by JJ’s falling back asleep. Shane’s strong arms wrapped around my waist and kissed my neck

“Are you tired?” I spun around and smiled my devilish grin

“Not a bit” his lips crashed down on mine and picked me up by my hips he made his way to the bedroom and to tell you it was a good night. When I woke up Shane was fast asleep I smiled and wiggled out of bed not waking him. I pulled on some shorts and a blood red tanktop, I heard a noise in the living room and I went to check what it was, I found Zeke and JJ playing together well sort of JJ was trying to catch Zeke’s tail as Zeke swiped it back and forth.
“Never thought a baby could be so fun” his words echoed through my mind

“Ya, me either”

“We should take him out, let him see the court” I nodd

“Good idea, let’s go outside” we slipped out of the room and we raced out to the field, JJ rolled around in the grass and played with a butterfly when nausea rolled over me Zeke’s ears shot up.

“What is it Ro” he asked

“Take JJ and go get father give him the signal” I watched as Zeke grabbed JJ at the nape of the neck and ran off, I ran in the opposite direction and found that one of the wards have been broken the next thing I knew a hand wrapped around my neck and mouth.
