The rest of the day for Hinata dragged on for an eternity as he waited for the bell to signal the end of last period so he could see Kageyama at volleyball practice.
'I don't want to miss any chances, if I mess up, I know what my fate is, and I-- I can't let that happen' thought the orange haired boy.
As the last period drew to an end Hinata's nerves began to latch themselves onto all of his insecurities. He worried about everything; his hair,  his body shape, minute details like his clothes- all seemed to be wrong in Hinata's eyes.
The bell he had been waiting for suddenly echoed down the hallways shocking the boy to his core as he was afraid of what was to come. He fumbled at his desk stashing everything quickly into his bag before leaping out of his chair and bounding out of the room, heading towards the gym.

Hinata POV

I am so nervous as I walk towards the gym door. I am going to see all my team again- after all these years. My head was spinning and my hands were clammy as I reached towards the cool metal handle of the door. I slowly pressed down to open the door to my memories. Memories which had once again become reality thanks to Eiji.

Out of POV

Hinata gulped before pushing the door as his mind overflowed with dread. But something was wrong.. why wasn't the door opening? Hinata was sure he was on time, in fact his worry had slowed him down and he was actually 5 minutes later than he should have been. 'What is happening? They should all be in there now, who had the key? I have absolutely no idea' thought Hinata, frustrated with the situation. With a sigh the boy slumped to the ground leaning against the wall of the building. A flurry of thoughts and worries entered his head about if he'd missed some important information about the training session, when he was interrupted by a stern voice coming from a tall dark haired boy.

"Why, Hinata.. Are you sitting on the ground again? This isn't some Hinata x Floor-kun fanfiction baka"
Startled Hinata stared upwards and saw the familiar shape of Kageyama's toned body. His head was shrewded in shadow but Hinata could clearly see the scowl rested on his face. Something about him made Hinata want to burst out laughing but trying to hold in his amusement he choked on his laughter and made a sound like a small animal. This noise caught Kageyama off guard as he took a few steps back slightly stumbling over his own feet

Kageyama POV

What is up with Hinata. Firstly why is he sitting against the gym wall with a mournful look across his face when he knows there isn't training today! And secondly.. why the hell is he making such cute noises and innocently acting like I'm the one behaving strangely?? He's such an idiot.

Out of POV

"H-Hinata you um.. you do know there is no training this evening? Everyone talked about it just last night remember? You can't be so stupid to forget.. although knowing you I wouldn't be suprised". Kageyama managed to get his words out in a full sentence but he knew that Hinata had noticed the blush on his face by the way his eyes had lit up.
'Why is this boy embarrassing me so much recently. He is making me feel all... Ugh I don't know. Uncomfortable.' thought Kageyama.

"Of course yeah ahaha.. I knew that I just.. I like the floor outside the gym?" Hinata had managed to utter out this excuse but he knew it sounded ridiculous. Even so he kept going. "Yeah the floor here, soo comfy its um.. different to the ground elsewhere. Yeah you should sit down Kageyama and errr you'll see what I mean" 'What the hell am I saying???' Thought Hinata feeling humiliated. 'The ground here is no different than anywhere else that's obvious I need to shut up!!!'

Kageyama sighed noticing the embarrassment of the boy. Although he usually found Hinata acting flustered hilarious, this time he felt pity for the orange haired boy and decided to humour him. With quick movement Kageyama sat himself down on the ground next to Hinata. "Yeah you're right it's pretty nice here. And being this low on the ground helps me understand how you must feel everyday Shoyo"

Hinata's jaw dropped to the ground and he began throwing punches at Kageyama. "Hey are you calling me short Bakaeyama?? Do you want a fight????"

Kageyama couldn't help but laugh at Hinata's punches, they were so light he only felt like he was being tickled. In fact the feel of Hinata's fists pummelling his chest somehow made him feel like he was charged with electricity. Without realising what he was doing he swiftly grabbed Hinata's wrists and stopped him from moving.
"Careful shrimp you are going to hurt your hands if you keep hitting me like that" he laughed as Hinata pouted.
"And stop making that cute face stupid"

Hinata POV

Did Kageyama just call me cute?? I mean yes he said stupid right after but... he called me cute! HE CALLED ME CUTEEE!!!

Out of POV

Hinata felt like he was glowing from the inside. He was sat so close to his crush that their thighs kept brushing and now his wrists were both being gripped tightly in Kageyama's soft hands. He was completely overcome with the craving to kiss the tall boy-, it was all he was thinking about. Kageyama's lips were slightly parted and they looked soft and moist and to Hinata-- they looked irresistibly kissable. Was this one of the moments he was supposed to take? Is this what Eiji would want him to do. His fate was in his own hands and all he had to do was move his head just 10 centimetres towards Kageyama.
