Chapter 5

I turned around to where the source of the voice that called. My jaws dropped and my eyes widen while I heard Sab gasped in shock tothe familiar face that was approaching us.

“Levi…” my voice trailed speechless

“ Gabby, it is you, what the hell are you doing here? Were you in that plane too? And you’re with Sabrina” Levi asked, shock was evident on his face. Well, that makes three of us.

“you were in that plane too? I can’t believe this.” Sab mumbled the last part.

 I still stood frozen at my spot speechless and unable to move.

Sabrina’s POV

Gabby still wasn’t giving off any reaction other than shock. Like she’s seen a ghost. Well I understand why. Her last encounter with Levi wasn’t really a happy memory for her.

Levi was once one of our bestfriend, there used to be 4 of us in highschool, he was the school’s popular kid cos he was the quarterback of the football team, girls swoon over him but he doesn’t pay attention to them cos he was mostly with us hanging out, doing crazy stuff, getting into trouble together, we were tight back then.

Until Gab told Kenna and I her secret, that she was inlove with Levi, Kenna and I weren’t really shocked by this. We knew the way they looked at each other that it’s more than friendship, or at least for Gabby it wasn’t. Levi fell inlove with another girl, his classmate in Advance Chemisrtry which my girls and I were done so Levi had to take it without us. There began their chemisty, in chem. Class, Ironic huh?

Gab was crushed by this, Levi didn’t hang with us anymore cos he was busy with his new girlfriend, but Gab seeing Levi was happy with his girlfriend, chose to let go and bury her feelings for Levi without telling him. Then Gab got this hot new foreign exchange student from Italy as her boyfriend, he was HOT but he only had eyes for Gab.

Everyone was jealous, Gab was happy with him, they were the school’s cutest couple until we heard the news that Levi’s girlfriend dumped him but I snooped around and found out that apparently, the girl had the hots for Gab’s boyfriend leaving Levi clueless as to why she dumped him and broken.

Weird thing was, Levi started hanging with us again, well mostly with Gab then one night Gab called Kenna and I in our phones telling that she broke up with her boyfriend because Levi was now courting her, awakening her buried feelings for Levi.

Knowing Gab, she didn’t have the guts to date them both so she formally broke up with her boyfriend and took Levi’s hand. But after a few days of Gab and Levi being a happy couple, Levi suddenly got cold towards Gab and dropped her like a hot pot.

Gab cried her eyes out in front of Levi and us, it seems that Gab had heavy feelings for Levi that made her a mess. But the look on Levi ‘s eyes that day was cold even I shuddered from it. After that, we never saw Levi again. Until today.

“yeah, my cousin and I were supposed to go to Rome for a business trip. Then this happened and I got separated with my cousin when the plane exploded. What are guys doing here anyway? Looking for supplies too?” Levi asked me feeling nervous when glancing at Gab.

“yeah, we are, we’re also looking for Kenna.” I retorted. Remembering all he had done to Gab, still gets on my nerves.

“she’s with you guys too? Guess you got separated too huh” Levi said cautiously.

“no, she got taken from us” Gabby answered slightly angry. finally snapping out of her shocked state

“taken? How?” Levi asked wide eyes and furrowed brows. Clearly shocked from the news.

“we’re still figuring it out, all I know is got smacked in the head causing me to black out then he or she took kenna.” I answered. Levi’s eyes got wider if that was even possible.

“there’s no use still staying here, you know where we are going, are you coming with us or you rather prefer being alone on your own?”  Gab questioned Levi calmly, but you can still see the glint of anger in her eyes but quickly masked it as emotionless.

“I’ll come with you” Levi decided but still being cautious with Gab.

‘then let’s go”. Gab started walking away towards the plane.
