Chapter 3

“this is bad, really really bad.” Kenna begins to panic.

“ I know. What’re we gonna do?” Sab asked.

“well, we got separated with the others, but I’m sure we’ll meet up with them eventually, let’s just find water first and settle there for the mean time, we can’t go on without water.

 Then we’ll  go back near the plane to see if there were supplies left, and hopefully we’ll meet up with someone.” I stated.

“there’s definitely water near,”  kenna said as she bent down and touched the ground.

“yeah, there are mosses around and I can smell water” Sab agreed.

You see, we three like to travel specially go mountain climbing, so fortunate for us, we know how the woods work. I just hope we can survive through this.

As we reached the waterfall, I gasped at how beautiful it is.

 I’ve seen a lot of environmental sight but this is truly breathtaking. Which made me wonder where on earth are we exactly. I suck at geography so it’s out of the question.

The girls probably read my thoughts but chose to ignore it as they too suck at geography as I did. So asking where we are geographically speaking is pointless for us. We’re cool like that.

My thoughts made me chuckle which made the girls chuckle too. This is what our friendship is like. We understand each other and communicate with our eyes. That’s why I love my girls.

“alright, let’s settle here for a while.” I said

The sun is about to set and we were able to build a small shelter out of woods and big banana leaves.  Good thing there are fruits around. At least hunger won’t be an issue.

“we should probably take turns to watch.” I said

“ right, I’ll take the first watch, you guys should take a rest. I’ll wake you up in 4 hours.” Sab avowed

“okay”  Kenna nodded while getting ready to sleep.

“ wake me up as soon as something happens, ok? Or even if you hear any movements” I whispered to Sab while narrowing her eyes to questioning me.

 I shook my head letting her know that she won’t get an answer from me. She nodded her head and leaned on the big rock next to our shelter.

I settled myself next to Kenna and felt myself drifting to sleep.

After two and a half hours of sleep, I woke up and felt completely awake. Guess, no going back to sleep for me now eh. I stretched my body and looked over at where my girls are, my eyes got wide to see that no one was with me.

I quickly stood up and frantically searched the area. I went over the big rock where Sab was supposedly be watching and saw a figure on the ground. My heartbeat doubled as the surroundings got in a slow motion scene like in one of a thriller movies.

 As I got nearer at the figure, I quickly got on my knees as I figured who was on the ground.

It was Sab.
