The words left his mouth within confidence, the band cheering in delight, slamming their fists lightly on the wooden table to express their happiness. Harry's smile never faded nor did his gaze on me as he sips his champagne.

And I, I were in total shock.

"Oh my god," I laughed in disbelief, clenching my chest lightly to make sure this is real - and to calm my racing heartbeat.

"Congratulations, welcome to the band, Louisa." Sara embraces me, pressing her soft cheek upon mine, squeezing my shoulder with her palm.

"Thank you so much," My lips quivered, suddenly feeling the rush of realization and relief that I wouldn't be tossed aside like a read Novel. This is it, it's time to open the pages.

The car ride back was different. This time, he wasn't just a friend anymore but my boss, too. "Thank you so much for allowing me to have this moment with every one of you. It's a big change for me, I'm sure my mother will be very pleased." I spoke gently, my eyes tenderly and meeting his within appreciation. He returned the light smile, gently tapping the top of my hand with his ringed fingers and glassed skin.

"No. I should be thanking you. You were very easy to work with. You're very smart and you learn easily." He cackles softly, pulling away his touch to push his small curl away from his sharp features.

His face becomes a bit stern, eyes worriedly searching mine. "I completely forgot. I think it's right to speak to your mother regarding about this. I will have to meet her when she's free, I'd like to have her permission as well." He continues, green irises covered with purity.

"I'm sure I'll let her know very soon." I reassured him.

The car came to a halt beside the hotel I'm staying at. I let out a soft sigh, a feeling in me not wanting this night to end just yet. I know I have to return the generosity back to Harry at some point and let him know how blessed and thankful I am to be apart of his team.

"I know you probably have work to be done. But would you like to come up with me for some tea or juice?" I ask him decently, ready for a declination and acceptance.

"I'd really love to, Lo. I'm afraid I do have some work to be done," his lips curls into an apologetic smile, lashes fluttering slowly within a blink.

I nodded, not an ounce of heartfelt in me nor disappointment from his declination. "It's okay. I completely understand. But then again, thank you very much for tonight and for this opportunity." I bowed my head lightly instinctively, overwhelmed on how much would it be enough to thank him.

"You're welcome." He whispers.

"I'll see you tomorrow," I say, grabbing my purse and reaching for the door handle. "Lo, before you go, I wanted to give you something." He calls out again.

Curiously and innocently, I looked at him as he reaches over the leather seat, pulling out a box. "Every member I welcome, I always want to gift them something to feel at home and a spiritual connection I have with them." He caresses the velvet box with his thumb as I carefully place my purse aside to examine his actions, holding the card of my room.

"I got you this. And please, do not thank me. I saw it this morning when I was out in the city. And I thought of how this were a perfect gift for you." He opens the box, revealing a plain simple ring.

"I observed your fingers when you play the piano so I assumed this were your size," he chuckles, pulling out the silver. "Inside the ring, there is something that you should read."

He gently takes my hand, placing the silver on my palm. I softly clutch it with my fingers, turning it over to read what's inside not before glancing at him in awe.
