One month later
The cold begin to disappear away within the summer season approaching, melting from the heat of a kiss. And there, Harry and Louisa and the rest of the band/crew knew it meant tour is soon, a week away. First stop of their destination is Philadelphia on June 26th, 2020.
Louisa still managed to try and be distant from Harry, and till now she still tries. She hoped her feelings for him would be eaten away, but it's still right in front of her - mocking her everyday, growing and blooming like sunflowers. Louisa still speaks to Harry, hugs him, comforts him but something in between those steps and contact - there was something missing. Harry noticed it but he didn't bother asking nor to think too much about it. He was upset, almost, about it - but he knew he couldn't do much. He allowed her to feel that way because he didn't want to be the blame, not close - but little does he know that it's mostly because of him.
They didn't bond as they used to even though they both know it's nothing taken by the heart. They both are busy. From Harry contacting his managements, to meetings, to producers, to stylists, to tour managers - he was occupied. And just under a month, he managed to do everything including rehearsals with the band. Now here they are, a week away from tour and two days from now they all will be catching a flight to PA.
Louisa packed up her notebook inside her tote bag. She was currently writing a song, but nobody knew. Not even Harry. She almost found it weird at how they've grown apart even though they still were there for one another and still are under the same roof. But soon, they'll be travelling and will be staying in different rooms and sheets. She finished her rehearsals at the studio with Mitch. Mitch and Louisa often were the heart of the tunes, they held the melodies and leading parts. Adam and Sarah on the other hand, they were the heart of the beats and band, especially Sarah - Louisa adored her.
Louisa was prepared to leave the studio but she halted on her steps. She pondered on the thought, "Where am I off to now?" Harry wasn't home and even if he was, she wouldn't know what to do when he's there. She sighed, dropping her bag as her limbs falls onto the cushions. She felt exhausted and drained out. She didn't understand why things were happening the way it was. She didn't understand why she must fall in love with Harry. She knew why, she just didn't understand why her feelings allowed to give in.
Perhaps we can't really control anything after all.
She takes her notebook once again, thin loose papers at the end of the hard cover. Louisa has a habit of ripping out pages, she found it easier to write then even though it always fell out of her grip. "Staying in?" Mitch comes her way, his hair shorter now and cheekbones beaming under the light. He slips on his sweater, waiting for Louisa to speak. But she said nothing and shrugged. Mitch wasn't close with Louisa, but it was enough to know Louisa hasn't been too focused lately.
Focused with herself.
She was lost in between, trying to find light in the dark to crawl out. But as she kept on going to find that light, she just seemed to be diving in deeper and further from her way out. She was drowning deeper, the ocean swallowing her whole till she's nothing.
"I think I'll just stay here for a moment," Louisa finally replies to Mitch.
She wondered if she'd call Paris to keep her company. She's been closer to Paris. Paris always mentioned Harry and how Louisa is coping with her hard feelings and Louisa always answered the same thing, "I love him but I can't be with him." And it's true, no matter how far she'll reach, no matter how much she'll crawl, no matter how much she'll prove to everyone and herself she loves him, they just can't be together. Even their inked tattooed together, somewhere, wouldn't prove anything.
