"Akabane. My name is (Y/N) Akabane."

Gasps filled the classroom, including a strawberry blonde with a surprised look on his face.

"Akabane? As in Karma Akabane's sister?"

"What is an Akabane doing here? In the A-class?"

"Probably a troublemaker, just like her brother."

Whispers between the girls and the stares from the boys in class made you uncomfortable, as you cleared your throat and spoke again.

"I assume you all know my brother, Karma Akabane. Regarding all your questions, I will gladly not answer any of them. Now if you'll excuse me, I would like to get some time alone please." You stated as you walked past the strawberry blonde, and turned the knob of the door. As soon as you walked out, you dropped your smile and walked towards the stairs. Asano gazed at your back, thinking to himself. Your (h/c) locks didn't resemble any of your brother's spicy red hair, and your (e/c) eyes were so much different than his golden eyes. Shocked to know his greatest rival, Karma Akabane's sister was here, he didn't notice that he had followed you down the stairs, as you walked up the mountain to meet up with your brother to eat lunch with him.

It was a troublesome route, filled with traps, snakes, insects. You didn't mind such things, considering that you had no right to complain. After all, every student in the E-class had to suffer from this unfair treatment daily, and you weren't in the right place to do so. As you finally made your way up the mountain, you spotted your brother's red hair, waiting for you at a nearby tree. "Oi, what took you so long?" Karma smirked as he walked up to you, snatching the lunchbox from your hands. "Nii-San, that is my lunch. I placed yours on the table at home before I left for school." You stated as you snatched the lunchbox back, sitting down by the tree. Karma watched you as his eyebrows furrowed, as he continued to complain.

  "But it's dog food inside!"

"Nii-San, that is your food. Please do not insult my cooking like that."

  "It doesn't even look cooked."

"Be grateful that I actually made you food, Nii-San. I'd be really happy if I didn't have to wake up two hours earlier every day just to make food for you. So eat up, and stop complaining." you sighed as you took out a pair of wooden chopsticks from the lunchbox. Karma chuckled as he sat down next to you, playing with your (h/c) locks. "Feisty little one eh?" He said, taking out another pair of wooden chopsticks as he takes out his own bento. (In other words, Japanese styled lunch)

"Itadakimasu(いただきます)" you both said at that same time, not noticing a presence at a nearby bush. Gakushuu glared at Karma, displeased that he had to skip lunch just to see his greatest rival. Now, he was stuck at his position, afraid to move, since it may alarm you both and find him eavesdropping. He sighed as he mustered up the courage, crawling slowly from the bush and going through the nearby trees. Everything was going smooth, but Gakushuu miscalculated one thing.

"Crack". A twig snapped under Gakushuu's feet, stiffening the poor boy. Karma noticed the sound, as he walked over to investigate. You followed behind him, making sure to close the bentos. You didn't want your food getting ruined by the falling leaves.

The strawberry blonde hitched his breath, ready to accept his defeat. As a certain red-head got closer and closer, his heart thumped at a rapid speed, as sweat dropped from his forehead. "Found you." Karma smirked as he slid his hands into his jean pockets. Gakushuu groaned as he turned around, facing Karma and you. "Asano-kun?" You glanced at him, internally screaming as you tried to figure out why the Student Council President was here, eavesdropping and spying on you while you were having some peace and quiet with your favourite brother. "Well well well, if it isn't the prince himself. What's the school's pride and joy doing here at the ruins of Class-3E? Have you come to pay us a visit?" Your brother asked sarcastically, earning a frown from Gakushuu.

"Must I explain everything?" He replied rubbing his temples, glaring at Karma as he tried to walk away from you both. You quickly went up to him and grabbed his wrists, making the boy stop on his tracks. "Asano-kun, why were you eavesdropping on me and my brother? I believe you know it's a rude thing to do, something I'd never expect to be done by such a 'well-mannered' person." You plastered another fake smile, Gakushuu slowly turning his head towards you. Karma nodded in response, agreeing to what you have questioned.

Silence.

Everyone was silent. You could hear the chirping noises coming from the birds clearly, as the weak wind blew across the leaves.

You and Karma were waiting for Gakushuu's reply, while Gakushuu was trying to come up with a reasonable excuse. Karma walked up to Gakushuu, leaning towards his ear. You couldn't hear what was he saying, but all you could see was a faint red tint creeping up Gakushuu's face, as Karma leaned back and patted on your hand, telling you to let go of Gakushuu's wrist.

"....I've got to go. I have a study session to attend to. Please do come (Y/N). You haven't been in a single one of them." Gakushuu insisted, walking towards the exit of the mountain. You sighed. You couldn't really disobey him, considering his position and all. However, it was times like this that having a mischievous brother has its advantages. You glanced over at Karma, looking at his noticeable grin. Karma shrugged, noticing your staring as he handed you your unfinished lunchbox. "It's best that you go with him. Make some friends or something, you always rely on me too much." Karma laughed as he poked your cheeks. You groaned at his response. "And I thought you could help me talk it out with him. I'm afraid there's no need to attend the session, I'll still pass the exams even if I don't attend. What's the point?" You asked, earning a laugh from your red-headed brother. "Don't get too full of yourself. You interact too little with others. This might be a good chance!"

"You know that most of the A-Class people are assholes, correct?"

"Precisely. Though, you still need to interact with them. If they ever displease you, just show them hell. Give them a taste of their own medicine."

"What's the point. We're about to graduate soon, don't you think it's a little bit too late to get acquainted with those bookworms?"

"Nothing is ever too late, (Y/N). Now go, the prince is waiting for you." Karma ushered.

"Yeah yeah yeah I'm going period head." You lazily picked up your lunchbox and headed towards the exit, hearing a scoff coming from your brother from the nick name you gave him. You didn't have to look over your shoulder to know he was rolling his eyes at you.

The green leaves danced around the wind, signalling the start of your now changing life, as well as your world.
