SUBCONSCIOUS MIND IS A FUNNY PLACE TO BE IN.
Subconscious mind is a funny place to be in. Nobody controls you neither do they judge you. But the matter of utter remorse is that it isn't the truth. It might be the likely consequence or a far-fetched dream you wish you hadn't had because the mere thought of it seems impossible and fills you with a pretty dangerous feeling, namely 'HOPE'. I have a knack for being optimistic or so I used to think. But when the reality hits you, it destroys that feeling of hope to the core and you are left broken and scarred for life.
I have been an extrovert all my life, though it's not that long of a time period to be considered relevant. But still, I like to think that it's my intrinsic nature. I have been defying my natural state for so long now that whenever I think of myself being an extrovert, I go into oblivion as if that part of me is lost. I have taught myself well, have been fooling myself for long enough now. I guess that's what being grown-up means. At least that's what I was told, "This over-friendly nature of yours will put you in a big problem someday if it hasn't yet." Oh, that's not the society you just heard, that's the most relevant person in my life. Haven't been talking much lately. Going through adulting and trying to breathe every day out of gills, defying my natural lungs

THE UNSOLICITED YEARNINGS OF A WANDERING MIND
Love has a varied definition. Depends on person to person. For someone, it might be in the cuddle of their dog and for some, it is in the kiss of a long lost lover. Love isn't black or white, nor is it grey. It's a myriad of colours shining through a tiny window called heart. Ah! Heart, the tiny organ that makes sure we survive. The one responsible for every cell breathing. Yet, the most celebrated job of heart isn't just done by heart. It's a mix of different chemical reactions happening in the brain. And that's how we arrive at the most debated point of love. Do you love with your heart or your brain? Some argue that since there isn't a conscious thought involved in loving someone- you don't decide who you love, you just fall in love, it's the doing of heart. The naughty little collection of muscle that skips a beat when the object of your affection is nearby or maybe just texting you. Or it might be when you think about them. But thinking happens from the brain and that's what the other half says. That unconsciously we do control who we fall for, by thinking- albeit a lot more than we think about others. But the seed is sown. We think and we fall in love, we dream we imagine and we sigh. So whether is brain or heart, we fall. And we fall hard. Some of us more than others, but none is exempt from the cherish of love.
Yet, lucky are those who are able to get the caress of their object of affection without any questions asked. Those of us whose love is requited. Those of us lucky enough to not have to move on. Those of us who don't have to force ourselves to think about someone else so we may not end up thinking about our object of affection. Isn't it a curious thought that you may not control who you fall in or out of love with, but you have to control what you do about it. Sometimes, we feel in control of our emotions and sometimes so out of them that we let ourselves go haywire. To maintain a sense of control, we end up pushing people to an extent of no return. Yet, that is all some of us know to do. We try and we fail. But we don't give up.
