Chapter 6

Deku looked at the sky, the sun was going down. He looked at Uraraka and looked back to the cave.

[I got to find somewhere safe for her.] he thought [Well this cave might have to do for now.]

Deku stepped into the cave and walked to the walls. There were light blue flowers, the way the light looks must be the reason they look there glowing a bit. He looked over and noticed Uraraka looking at the flowers too.

"Aren't they pretty Deku?" she said smiling

"Y-Yeah!" He said quickly returning his gaze to the flowers

[SHE LOOKS TOO CUTE! I JUST WANNA SQUISH HER FACE AND KISS HER!AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH] he thought as he panicked

Uraraka looked back over and noticed Deku's face was really red. She noticed that his hands were shaking and he looked super nervous. She could feel her worry growing as she looked at him more.

"Hey Deku..Are you okay?" she asked concerned

"O-Oh yeah! I-I'm fine!" he squeaked

"You don't sound fine." she said frustrated

She walked closer to him, catching him off guard.She reached out and touched his forehead.

"Oh gosh Deku! You're so hot! You must have a fever!" she yelped

"U-Uraraka I'm fine!" he insisted as he stuttered

"No you're not! Deku, your stuttering!" she pointed out

"I-I'm just tired from the battle..."he lied

"A-Are you sure?" she whispered

"Yeah.." he reassured

"We should probably explore the rest of the cave."

"Ok."

They went farther into the cave.The farther they went the darker it got. He grew concerned as his vision slowly worsened.

"D-Deku..?"

"Yeah?"

He looked at her and noticed she was facing away from him.He looked the way she was looking. There was nothing there. She sniffled and mumbled something incoherent.

"Uraraka? Are you okay?" he asked concerned

"Deku!"she yelped

He looked at her. She was shaking...?

"Uraraka. If somethings wrong you can tell me." he reassured

She turned to face him.While his vision was bad he could see well enough to see her. Was she crying...?

"D-Deku! I-I..!"she stuttered before mumbling something incoherent

" Its fine Uraraka, take your time!"he reassured

"I-I'm scared of the dark..."she whispered, as she began to cry harder

"Hey, it's okay everyone is scared of something!" he said wiping her tears

She mumbled incoherent things and began to cry even harder. He wrapped his arms around the crying girl.

"D-Deku.."she mumbled

"It's fine now, Uraraka."

"B-But..Why..?"

"Because I am here!"
