Kaiko POV
"He probably didn't do too much damage to the rover" Will said calming me down putting his hand in my shoulder.
"It's not that I'm worried about, what if he got himself into trouble," I say. There was question on my mind, why did he go outside during the night. What was he hiding...
I had noticed Fontaine's odd behaviour, she zoned of quite often but Ant I hadn't noticed anything wrong.
"What's on your mind Kaiko?" Will asked concerned holding my hand. I shake my head and reply "nothing".
"Come on, I know when something is bothering you" he replied
"Have you noticed the kids behaviour, Fontaine's anyway" I say looking up.
"I'm sure it's nothing," he replied brushing some of my loose hair aside.
But it was something, something was bothering her but what. I'm sure Ant knew what it was.
A loud beep came from the controls panel.
"Here, I've found the location of the rover" Will said smiling pointing towards the screen. I sighed in relief at least the rover seemed to be not too badly damaged if the location tracker is still working.
Ant POV
"Fontaine!" I said suprised.
"Huh?" Maddie said over the walkie talkie.
Fontaine smirked. I hid the walkie talkie under my pillow.
"Aww" she said teasing me.
"Stop it Fontaine" I say turning away angrily.
"Mom said as your punishment you have to clean your room" She said.
"What no!" I say pleading turning around. I look around to see the state of my room, it would take around a thousand years minimum to clean this up.
"And also your grounded" she added smiling.
"All I did was crash the rover" I whine
"Yeah all you did was sneak out at night and crash the rover" she said in a weird voice claiming it was how I sound.
"You sneaked our too" I added
"But I didn't crash anything did I?" She replied
"This is your fault!" I say pointing at her.
"Me! No you followed us and crashed the rover, you also stole Mom's camera." She replied.
That was true so I didn't reply.
"Ant?" Maddie asked over the walkie talkie, it was muffled as it was under the pillow. Fontaine smiled again.
"What about you and Finn!" I say
"You better not tell Mom" she said
"I will" I say annoyed
Then she took out her camera and showed the picture of me and Maddie hugging. I blushed hard, she noticed this.
"You might want to start cleaning your room if you want to finish before tonight" she said as she left the room.
"How am I meant to clean this mess"I say asking Jeffery.
He blew some bubbles.
"Your right the sooner I start the quicker I might get it done, probably in a thousand years"
"Ant, ANT" Maddie shouted over the walkie talkie.
I pick it up, "yeah?"
"What happened?" She asked.
"I'm grounded for crashing the rover" I state.
"You said you could drive it" she joked
I laughed "Got to go Maddie bye" I say quickly. I hide the walkie talkie under some books this time.
