Author POV:

It was the day before the ball, and Buttercup had found the perfect dress for it. She wasn't the type of girl to care much about her appearance, but this was a ball and it was her first time going to one.

Buttercup was outside with Robin and Mitch. They were talking about how Buttercup was lucky to go while they had to work. But of course that topic dropped soon and they were talking about something else like food and the new knight that will be coming soon to the kingdom.

It was getting late so the three knights decided to go back to the castle. Both of Buttercup's friends were walking her to her room. The laughter from the group quiet down when the three of them saw the princess standing outside Buttercup's bedroom.

When the Princess saw Buttercup, she came closer "Hi, I heard about you being the top knight of the castle so I wanted to know where you'll be guarding tomorrow?" She asked nicely.

"I don't work tomorrow, I'm actually going to the ball." Buttercup said, the princess looked shocked and confused, "But don't all knights have to guard the castle tomorrow?" Buttercup nodded and was about to speak, until she got cut off by her friends.

"The prince wants her to join the ball." Mitch said, "She's very important to the prince and he wants her there." Robin grinned. The Princess was lost in her thoughts until Buttercup spoke up, "Is that all you wanted to know?"

"Uh yes. Thank you, I'll be going now." The princess left without another word. The three knights stared at the princess till she was finally out of sight. "There's something off about her." Mitch mumbled, "Yeah, she gives me bad vibes." Robin said.

"Tomorrow is the ball, you'll have a chance to...I don't know? Get closer to Butch? Lately he's been around that princess and I'm worried that he-"

"Guys, it's alright. Don't worry about me, unless I come crying to you guys." Buttercup chuckled, they nodded their head and talked for a bit and then left to get some rest.

Buttercup was really hype about the ball, but she was a bit nervous though because she knew nobody at the ball except Butch. All her friends are guarding the castle.

Beautiful Carriages would stop in front of the castle, for the gorgeous Princesses and handsome Prince's to step out.

The ball was filled with bright lights and tables with delicious food placed on. The Princesses were talking in groups, fanning their fans to their face. The Prince's were taking sips of the expensive whine they were offered.

They were all waiting for the Prince and Princess to step out, and get-

Oh... there they are.

"Presenting Prince Butch Jojo the son of Mojo Jojo the king of Townsville Royce and Presenting mam'selle Agustina du bois the daughter of Louis the Plous king of France."

(A/N:Give me some slack)

Everybody looked towards their way, as Butch held her hand and they both walked down the steps. It was quiet till Butch kissed her hand gently and they both went separate ways to their friends.

"Wow, she's a beauty." Boomer said, giving a smile. Butch rolled his eyes, "You could say that," Butch gets handed over a glass of whine from one of his closest friends.

"How is your relationship with Blossom?" Butch asked, taking a sip of the whine. Brick smiled brightly, "Perfect, I plan on proposing soon. Our kingdoms will soon unite together," Brick looked down at his glass, his smile perfectly saying he was thinking about her right now.

"Aren't you becoming king soon?" Boomer asked, taking a bite of cheese cake. "Yes, my father is getting old and he isn't the same as before, so he wants me to take over the kingdom soon, but I need a queen of course and Blossom is perfectly happy of the thought of us ruling together." Brick finished his whine.

"Damn, you look prepared for your future." Boomer mumbled, "Don't you got a lover?" Brick asked, "Yes, but she's a princess though."

Butch and Brick looked at Boomer with wide eyes, "Boomer you know peasants and royal can't date." Butch said, looking worried for his friend. "I know, I didn't know she was a princess until she revealed her tiara to me. We met at the supermarket and she.... to cut things short, she was dressed as Jazmine." Boomer shrugged.

"Maybe you can be lucky as Aladdin and end up together." Butch and Brick began laughing. Boomer rolled his eyes, "Haha, funny joke."

"Honestly though, we haven't talked to Aladdin or Charming or even Eric for a long time now." Butch said, Brick nodded. "I know...Ugh I hate being an adult." Brick whined.

Boomer grin, he felt lucky he wasn't from a royal family. He didn't have to worry about all that royal stuff, "Thanks for inviting me to your party." Boomer said, "Of course, your like a brother to me. You should know by now you'll always be invited to everything."

The three of them talked about many different topics, until the room got quiet and everybody's stare went to one particular person.

"Bro look." Brick said, pointing at what was behind Butch.

"Buttercup."
