Chapter 10

I  seem to notice that almost everything we learn in school, doesn't even fucking prepare us for the future.

"Buttercup"

Out of the shadows, a girl with shoulder length black hair came out, her dress matching the color of her eyes and jewelry that would shine bright and complete her beautiful outfit.

Two tall handsome knights held her hands while they walked her down the steps. You could clearly tell she was shy by the blush spreading her pretty pale face down to her milky white neck. The Knights whispered something into her ear making her push them away and smile. 

Butch didn't know what he was doing, he just felt his feet making their way over to her. 

Everybody watched, as the prince bowed down to the unknown girl and she did as well, holding her dress to bow down. Butch held her hand, and led her to the dance floor. 

"The lights! The lights!" Brick whispered/yelled to the workers in the castle. 

Everybody circled around them as they danced. 

Some of the girls giggled and laughed as they saw Buttercup kept stepping on the Prince's feet. 

"You look beautifu-ouch" Butch winced, "Sorry," Buttercup awkwardly smiled. 

It felt awkward for their body to be so close and to dance in an elegant way. Buttercup wasn't used to this. 

"What did they whispered to you?" Butch asked, out of sudden. "Huh?"

"The two Knights, Mitch and Robin." 

"Oh, they just reminded me of something." Buttercup smiled, "Mmm, I was wondering if you were even going to come since I didn't see you." Butch whispered, looking worried.  "It was their fault, they were arguing which jewelry and shoes would look good on me." Buttercup chuckled. 

Butch leaned in closer, making Buttercup blush "Everybody is staring." Buttercup whispered, "Rest your head on my chest then." He whispered back, a small smile on his lips. 

Buttercup didn't understand what was the point at resting her head on his shoulder, more people were going to stare at them, but Buttercup still did it.

Buttercup rested her head on his chest as they continued to dance, she closed her eyes at the sound of his heartbeat against her ear.

"Isn't that your man over there dancing with another girl?" Rosie asked and raised her eyebrow at Agustina, "I guess. We're not married yet and plus that's his best friend, nothing more and nothing less." She shrugged. 

Elizabeth slapped Agustina's head with her fan, "Are you dumb bitch?! You can clearly tell she is going to steal your man." Agustina stared back at the best friends dancing together, "She is?" She questioned.

"Yes! best friends usually end up as lovers. If I were you I wouldn't let any girl between me and my prince." Elizabeth rolled her eyes. 

"Really?" 

"Obviously! You need to start acting like the Princess you are." They told her. Agustina stayed quiet as she stared at Butch and Buttercup dance.

The music ended, and they both walked over to Brick and Boomer. 

"Well, if it isn't the top knight Buttercup Utonium" Brick teased, "With a dress too! are those the high heels cinderella send you the other day?" Boomer teased as well at Buttercup. Buttercup punched them in the arm, making them whine in pain. 

"That hurt." Boomer whine as he rubbed his now bruised arm. "You deserved it." Butch chuckled, Brick pouted as he saw Butch and Buttercup be clingy, "I miss Blossom..." Brick mumbled. 

Butch put his arm around Buttercup's shoulder, pulling her close. Buttercup smiled and continued to talk to them, a conversation that felt right. Buttercup hasn't seen them in awhile and she misses  hanging out with them. 

"Butch, there is a party I'm going to held soon at my castle, like a marriage proposal party for Blossom. I want both of you to come, plus Blossom wants to meet you Buttercup." Brick smiled. 

"We'll be there for sure." Butch said, playing with Buttercup's earring with the arm he had around her shoulder. "

"So, who's hungry?"

Next Chapter will be about the people who came from England to see Buttercup and how the King is furious Buttercup didn't accept his offer. 

I'll be updating that chapter soon. I'm really fucking tired and I had trouble making this chapter. I'll edit this later in the future if I don't like it.
