Chapter 16

Author POV:

Lately, all the knights and guards have been noticing on Buttercup's behavior and disappearance throughout the days.

Buttercup would mostly be out hunting animals with Butch while riding their horses, and they would constantly sneak out to go somewhere nobody else knew. Which was Butch's and Buttercup's secret hideout when they were little

"Butch..." Buttercup moaned into the kiss and Butch's hands gripped onto her small waist. They would constantly make out when they got the chance to be alone or would sneak in quick pecks. Buttercup loves the fact she has Butch as more than a best friend in her life. 

She didn't have to worry about the princess interfering because Butch had made it cleared to Buttercup that he will find a way for them to get marry and not worry about any princess getting in the way.

Buttercup had talked to the princess many times before, the princess would order maids or servants to call Buttercup the princess room so they could talk. The talks weren't so great, but Buttercup always stayed calm and respectful because she knew who the real winner was and it wasn't the spoiled princess. 

Buttercup laid on Butch's chest as Butch held her class to plant kisses everywhere. Buttercup's face blushed to a red color once she felt Butch's lips on her neck. He sucked on the knight's smooth neck to leave a dark purple-ish love mark. Butch licked his lips and smiled at Buttercup's flustered reaction. 

"I told you not to leave marks, they might see them and people in the castle are already starting rumors about us," Buttercup told him, touching his strong chest. "The mark shows you belong to someone, and that someone is me." 

Buttercup buries her face onto Butch's neck, "You're so cheesy." She mumbles to him. Butch chuckles and kisses the top of her head, "Spent the night with me," Butch said.

"I have night duty today though," Buttercup frowned, and grabbed the blanket that was neatly folded on the bed to cover themselves. They stay quiet for a few minutes until Buttercup spoke up to ask a specific question that made Butch get worried.

"Have you find a way to stop the marriage?" Buttercup asks, with hopeful eyes. When Butch takes too long to respond to Buttercup, Buttercup's smile and hopeful eyes turn to sadness. "Oh, you still haven't," Buttercup said, not looking at him at all. 

"Well, that's alright. There's still a lot of time left." Buttercup says, trying to look at the positive side. Butch only nods and rubs Buttercup's back. 

"I love you." 

"I love you too, Butch."

"Send them! Send them again! They have to convince her! We can't lose to Townsville! That bastard took everything from me! A betrayal I'll never forget! Now he'll pay and so will his people!" 

"Of course your majesty," They all bowed down to the king and queen. He snapped his fingers and they were off to head back to Townsville. 

"Get the ships ready!" He yelled out, and everybody began moving. 

"I'm telling you, Mary, once she joins our Kingdom, everybody will know us. We will make history and Mojo Jojo will be dead." He told his wife, his smirk showed evilness and cruelty. 

"We'll have it all." She smiled at him, and tightly held his hand.
