The sun shone brightly as ever, flowers blooming and the birds chirping. However no matter how beautiful the day was, Seonghwa couldn't find any reason to be smiling. His face was down, contrasting the vibrant flowers he passed by as he walked to the university building.

He didn't even try hiding his sorrow; his usual light-colored clothes were replaced with all black and his sparkling eyes were long gone. Considering that Jeonghwa is a well-liked and admired person not only in their campus but by many others, Seonghwa didn't want to attract any more attention especially from fans that might attack him for something he didn't mean to do.

Hell on earth, he thought.

After what seemed like forever, Seonghwa's last class for the day finally ended. Oh how thankful he was that he was able to contain his misery. He was proud of himself for not breaking down in the middle of class because of the people who muttered bad things about him and all the death glares that would kill him if looks could kill.

Just as promised, he made his way to Wonderland Café to meet Kim Hongjoong, his long-time best friend. Seonghwa would trust him with his life. They met back in middle school and instantly clicked, ever since then they have been the best of friends. To his poor luck, the two had to part due to not getting into the same university. Hongjoong goes to KQ University which is a half hour to an hour drive away from Inception University.

"Seonghwa!" A shorter boy with brilliant blue hair called out to the said boy who wore a troubled look. "Damn Park, you really do love her. You look so miserable."

"Thanks,"

"Anytime, let's sit! I ordered you hot choco since I know you can't drink coffee. So! Did you get anyone to believe you?"

"Not yet, I only saw them during lunch. Although I think one of her friends doubt the situation. When they walked pass me, one of them looked at me with pity."

"That's a really good sign. If you can, talk to her tomorrow but be careful or you might end up with another slap. What's her name and how close is she to Jeonghwa?" Hongjoong questioned further.

"Im Taehee, she's Jeonghwa's high school best friend. They're practically non-blood sisters, along with their other friend, Jung Siyeon. It's scary how they protect each other."

"Wait, did you say Im Taehee? Roundish-almond shape eyes and chocolate brown hair? Although, I'm not if she's dyed it."

"Yes....?"

The blue-haired looked bewildered, "We used to be neighbors before she moved here to Seoul. We were really close. I'm guessing she attended high school here and that's when she met Jeonghwa."

Seonghwa smiled at the latter's short life story, finding it cute how they were all somehow connected.

"Anyway, Taehee is a great person. If she really believes in you, she'll hear you out and help you. Just don't get on her bad side. How 'bout this, try to talk to her without letting Jeonghwa know then explain to her about it. Then we can meet up again another time."

"O-Okay," Seonghwa heaved a deep sigh, not being able to lift his head up.

Seonghwa thought that if he believed in himself, Taehee would too and all will happen smoothly. If there was one thing he should know, it's that he knows the truth so he shouldn't doubt himself. But honestly it was easier said than done.

The night before, he practiced and practiced his lines on what to say when he goes up to Taehee. Even if he really didn't like the unsettling beating of his heart out of anxiousness, he was more than determined to set things straight and back to how it was. He was desperate to gain back Jeonghwa's happiness and trust even if that meant getting cussed at.

The lad fidgeted with his thumb as he shakily watched Taehee put something in her locker, only at this time he was thankful that the two other girls weren't with her. What if I can find another way? Will this really solve my situation? What if she doesn't trust me? Seonghwa hesitated.

His body betraying his mind, he found himself walking up to her. He took a deep breath before tapping the girl's shoulder.

"What?" Taehee turned around as she wore an evident irritated expression.

"H-Hi um, I wanted to talk to you about something."

"Ah, I've been waiting. We'll talk during lunch, I still have a class. Let's meet outside your building." The short-haired spoke with an expressionless face which intimidated Seonghwa, but nonetheless he was happy that she accepted to talk with him.

As Taehee walked away, he didn't even try suppressing a small smile which he hasn't done in days.

Lunch came quicker than he anticipated. His hands were yet again clammy and he could hear the own beating of his heart. If even possible, it sped up even more as he watched Taehee trudge towards him.

'You can do it, Seonghwa! This is your chance to redeem yourself.' He cheered himself on.

"I told them I had to finish something for a class. You can start, Park." Seonghwa felt towered despite the short-haired being noticeably shorter than the latter due to the unwavering expression she wore from earlier.

The lad then explained; he explained why he went to the party in the first place, why he said those things, how Hanae threatened to hurt Jeonghwa if he didn't do as she said and what he plans to do to solve it.

Taehee cringed, she knew Hanae wasn't the best person but she also didn't expect her to be that bad. "I'm sorry that had to happen to you, I'm glad it wasn't your fault. Is your cheek okay though? Siyeon hit you really hard."

"Y-Yeah, I'm fine just please help me earn her trust back."
