Chen put his hands in front of him as a smaller figure bumped into him. "Yugyeom?" A girl asked, "Nope." He laughed and she apologized and continued looking. "You can't yell for your partners either!" The host glared at some of the couples who where cheating.
Chen felt another small figure bump into him, there voice sounded familiar and so did there body shape. But it wasn't Jimin, there scent was different. "Sorry." He mumbled and walked around.
Then he heard a familiar voice and a loud thump. "Whoops someone fell!" The host laughed. Chen fallowed the noise easily dodging everyone in his way as he could feel them coming close to him.
Then he felt something heavy on his feet and knew it was a body. "Excuse me." The voice said gently. Chen quickly helped them up, then small hands felt his chest and arms. "ChenYoung?" He asked, "Jimin?" Chen asked. "It's me." He smiled.
They held hands and the host said, "Two couples have found each other! The time is running out!" Everyone cheered as Jimin and Chen laughed every time someone bumped into them.
"Times up! Ten couples completed the first round, leaving two couples out!" He cheered. "Now, everyone keep there blindfolds on as water will be spilled on the stage. Now, you two must protect and guide each other to the finish line, which will have small bumps on the bottom so you know when you've passed it!" He announced.
"I'm nervous." Jimin squealed while clapping his hands. "Me to, I don't like the sound of slipping." Chen said plainly. "Damn I completely forgot about that." Jimin whined as he felt water around his feet.
"Ready? Set! Go!" The host called and the ten couples began finding there way around the stage. "Now small paint ball guns will be fired, but instead of paint there will be water!" He laughed evilly.
"Yah! Seriously!" Everyone began yelling as water was splashed everywhere. Chen remembered something he learned as a kid. His uncle was blind, and he wanted to learn how he got around. Especially when he was training.
'I use my senses. I can't see, so I have to listen, smell, and feel my way around.' Uncle smiled. 'But you dodged all of those balls! How?' Chen asked confused. 'Go grab that shirt I was wearing earlier and tie it around your eyes, then I will teach you.' He said kindly.
Chen groaned as he was constantly being hit by the tennis balls. 'Listen closely Chen!' Uncle yelled. 'I am listening! But I hear nothing! And when I do I don't know where it's coming from!' He yelled back making uncle laugh.
'Listen to this.' He shot another ball. 'Now try and turn towards the sound, focus on the noise. Silence your breathing and concentrate.' He explained.
Chen grabbed Jimin's shoulder and took three steps back, dodging a water ball. He breathed slowly and closed his eyes really focusing over the cheers and cries, and heard that soft *shoot* sound.
Then he dodged it again and began searching around the stage, pulling Jimin this way and that to avoid being hit by water. Then he felt the bumps under his foot and gently pulled Jimin over the finish line.
They took off there blindfolds and saw Jin and Namjoon smiling at them. "How did you dodge all of those?" Namjoon asked. "I listened for the triggered to be pulled, and walked the opposite way." He explained.
Though the two boys didn't understand they didn't ask further questions. Jimin smiled and hugged him, "Your amazing!" He sang happily. "I know I am." Chen smiled.
"Alright everyone! This will be the final round! The obstacle course. First you will go over the bridge, over freezing cold ice water. Then one partner will get on the others back, and run threw the webs. Then the partner on your back will have to climb on the webs and over the wall, where you will have to catch your partner. At the end over here you'll see a monkey bar, one will have to crawl on top, while the other on bottom. Between each pole the couple will have to kiss. And lastly, the stronger partner will have to do the fallowing workouts while the other must motivate." The host announced.
