Lets end with a Bang

Hecate's POV:

I have taken up the lovely task of running through the streets of Manhattan like a crazy person. Why am I doing this? Well turns out these stupid police men are useless, so Steve gave me the lovely task of ensuring everyone is off the streets. It was pretty boring and how am I supposed to be polite to the people?

Like come on use the one percent of IQ you have to think! Why on earth would you stand outside in the wide open taking photos with your phone, when a bloody alien army is attacking from a hole in the sky. Like do you have a death wish or something?? Honestly I think the generation are getting dumber not smarter.

While I was lots in thought I didn't notice the cockroach alien flying directly at me, in my defence he came from behind and I was already occupied. A mother and her daughter are in the middle if the road just sitting there, jeez can I also join the picnic? I then notice the mothers ankle is broken, oh so it's not a picnic oops my bad. 

I run over to them and grab the child running with her to the safety of the nearest building I tell her to stay there, finally someone with an IQ above one she actually listens.  run to the mother and sling her arm around me and start to drag her to her daughter. But the alien is closing in we're not gonna make it.

I place the woman behind a big piece of rock for some cover, I then back up and start running at the rock. I use the rock to boost me into the air and grab hold of the aliens armour around his mouth. With my other hand I unsheathe three knives and press small buttons on their hilts. I throw the knives into the aliens mouth and immediately let go plummeting back to earth.

Luckily the alien was flying relatively close to the ground so the fall didn't hurt so much. Not long after one big explosion went of in the aliens stomach and it faceplates into the concrete. I run back to the Mother and help her all the way until she's undercover and safely reunited with her daughter. I sweep the rest ofd the streets and then start heading back to Steve and whoever is with him. When I reach him he quickly studies me for any serious injuries and then we get back to fighting.

'I can close the portal, does anyone copy? I can close the portal.' Nat says over the comms.

'Do it.' Steve says.

'No.' Tony says.

'Stark these things are still coming.'

'I have a nuke heading to Manhattan, and I know just where to put it.' 

I stare at the portal in slight horror as I watch Tony flying with the nuke directly at the portal, what if he doesn't make it. Pepper will have my head. He flies into the portal and I take a step forward watching closely. Come on Tony come on. I nearly sigh out in relief as I see him exit the portal.

'Close it.' Steve says to Natasha.

The portal the starts closing down but I notice Tony isn't slowing down, I go to yell at Thor to aid him but he's already swinging his hammer. Hulk then comes out of nowhere and grabs Tony, they land on the ground not to far from us. We all run over to them, Steve plucks the top of his mask away and there Tony is eyes closed seemingly not breathing.

'Come on Stark you can't die now you still owe me $5000, you can die after paying me.' I say but there's no response.

Hulk then roars and Tony suddenly wakes up gasping for air and I breathe out a sigh of relief and then almost much him but he's wearing armour so not a good idea.

'Whoah what happened please tell me nobody kissed me.' 

'We won.' Steve says.

'Hey ok well done guys let's just not come in tomorrow,' I roll my eyes at him and shift my attention to Stark tower we still have a "god" to deal with.
