RENEE'S POV
UUUGGHH!!!! I look at the clock and it reads 5am, time to get up for my morning workout. I stayed up a little too late talking to Trey last night, now I’m so tired, but I gotta get up. If I’m gonna keep my free ride to Columbia, then for the next two years my life is going to have to be strictly school and basketball. I walk to the bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth. I put on some leggings and a hoodie and grab my basketball and head out for my morning run. After that cool morning air hit me I was up. I come home and grab a protein shake before heading to the shower. After I do my daily hydgiene routine I hit CJ up on her two-way and ask her what she’s wearing. After confirming that she’s wearing jeans, I decide to do the same and put on some tight black Babyphat jeans, with a white and black Babyphat tank. I throw on some Black and Grey Gucci sandals and my Gucci shades to complete the fit. I grab my camera and go downstairs to ask my mother to take a picture of me.
R: Ma can you take a picture of me
M: Ooo you look cute today sweetie. I love your hair straight with those highlights in it.
R: Thank you I say smiling
She takes the camera and snaps a few pictures.
M: Aaaw we gotta put this in your photo album. I have a first day of school picture of you since you started going to school. You look so grown I don’t know where the time went. She says getting all sentimental.
While talking to my Mom my phone goes off and it’s Trey.
R: Goodmorning Trey
T: G’Morning Baby. You sound very awake.
R: Yea I am. You on the other hand my friend sound like you are still sleep
T: Nah I’m up, I’m just tired as hell. I stayed up late last night talking to this sexy chick from New York.
R: Funny I say sarcastically
T: So what you doing right now?
R: I just had my Mom take some pictures of me. It’s kind of a first day of school tradition over here.
T: Send me one
R: Ma, can you take this flick right now, I say handing her the camera back
I pose with the phone to my ear and my mom snaps the flick.
M: Hi Trey
T: Tell Mrs. Lewis I said Hi
R: He said Hi Ma. Well I gotta get ready to go, and so do you.
T: Yea yea. (sigh) Damn I wish you lived out here and went to my school so I could see your pretty ass smile every day.
R: Aaw that was sweet, but I will make sure to put a new pic on Black Planet everyday just for you.
T: Ok shawty, Holla at ya boy lata
R: Ok have a good day
T: You too
R: Ok. Bye Trey
T: Bye Baby
I grab the keys to my Dad’s drop top Benz, an apple, and my bags and head towards the door.
M: Uumm…Little girl what do you think you’re doing?
R: I’m going to school.
M: Did you ask Daddy if you could take the convertible?
R: Yes Ma I asked him last night and he said ok for the first day only.
