3 MONTHS LATER

TREY’S POV

After about three weeks Nae and I finally decided to leave the hotel and face our parents.  It wasn’t easy but we got through it.  Mumma wanted to kick my ass for leaving that long without calling but we talked and she understood why we did what we did.  Nae headed back to NY since she had to start school.  I haven’t seen her in about 2 months, we talk every day, but I miss her like crazy.  She is working harder than ever between class and basketball she doesn’t have time for anything.  That’s what I love about her though she’s always on her grind, but no matter what she always manages to make time for me.  Nae and her Dad haven’t really made up yet, they are both stubborn as hell.  Even though her Dad tried to cut her off financially her Mom still made sure she was ok.  I’m heading to NJ today, Mumma gave me one year to make this music thing happen and if it didn’t I had to find a job or go to college, so you know I gotta make it because a 9-5 just don’t fit me.  I’m gonna be staying at Troy’s , which is only about 20 minutes away from Nae so I will try to see my Baby as much as possible.   After I get settled in at Troy’s today I plan on surprising Nae at her apartment.  She has no idea that I am going to be staying in Jersey so this should be good.

RENEE’S POV

Here I am sitting in this boring ass accounting class and all I can think about it Trey.  I miss him so damn much.   As soon as I get out of class I get a call from the person that was on my mind.

R: Hi Baby

T: How is my fiancé doing today?

R: Tired.  I had a rough week.

T: Yea?  Tell me about it.

R: Nah, I don’t want to bother you with all that.  Nothing real serious, just school and practice and the bullshit with my Dad, you know the usual.

T: I wish you two would just make up

R: Yea well that aint happening no time soon

T: [laughing] you’re a mess.  Anyway you got practice today?

R: No we’re off until next week.

T: What you about to do now?

R: Go home and relax.
