15. VA-Duces -Part 2

TREY’S POV

Shit got outta hand too quickly. Nae took off down the street into the dark and I ran after her. I had to catch her because god knows what would happen to her if I didn’t. I finally caught up with her a few blocks away.

T: NAE STOP!! I yelled as I grabbed her arm and turned her around. The look on her face was a look that I will never forget. It was a look of sheer terror and panic. She was out of breath, shaking and crying. I wrapped my arms around her and held her tightly as she buried her face in my shirt and cried harder. Baby I’m sorry, but I didn’t do anything, she came at me and I kept pushing her away and telling her to leave me the fuck alone. She looked up at me, her eyes were red from crying and her face was wet from the tears. At that moment she looked like a scared little girl and all I wanted to do is comfort her and let her know that everything will be ok.

R: I was gonna kill her.

T: I know Nae, but she aint worth it Baby.

R: Why didn’t you tell me about you and her? I mean she’s been all up in my face this entire time smiling and shit and you didn’t say anything, you just had me out here looking like a damn fool Trey. Everyone knew but me.

T: Baby it was before I even met you. I don’t want her, all I want is you. I said as I kissed her lips.

R: Trey…

T: Baby lets go to car and finish talking. I said as I put my arm around her and began walking. I had noticed that as we were standing there talking niggas started staring me down, I aint want Renee to get caught up in nothing or possibly hurt so it was best for us to walk back to the car. When we got there I opened the passenger door for her and noticed her ring on the seat. To be honest, that shit hurt, I picked it up and just looked at her. How could she just take off an engagement ring, I mean yea we were going through something right now, but how the hell could she just disregard our commitment like that. I’m pissed but I know now is not the time to show it. She sat in the car and I closed the door behind her, then I got in and pulled off. I stopped when I saw Redd, Jay and Cici.

Cici: Oh my god Renee, are you ok? She said running to the passenger side of the car. Renee was still crying and Cici opened the door and gave her a hug. It’s gonna be ok girl, you and Trey just need to talk and I promise you everything will be alright. You two were made for each other.

R: Ok girl.

Cici: Call me if you need me.

R: Ok

Jay: Yo Nae I aint know you had that in you.

T: Neither did I. I said as I looked at her.

R: I don’t fuck around when it comes to Trey, he’s my heart. She said as she looked into my eyes.

Damn, that felt good to hear, but I was still upset about the ring. At least I know Nae is my ride or die.

T: We bout ta be out. I’ll holla at yall later

Nae and I say our goodbye’s to everyone and drive off. We go to what I feel is our spot now which is the hilltop by the school. I turn off the car and stare straight ahead. Just as I was about to speak she said something.

R: Did she kiss you? Damn I knew this was coming, I just hope she don’t flip on me again.

T: Yea

R: Did you kiss her back?

T: Hell No

R: You were fixing you pants when I saw you, so I’m assuming she touched your dick. Am I right?
