We landed in the Marco Polo airport in one of the earliest of time in the day.

We got our luggage, and left to explore. We had gone to Alilaguna which would take us to Venice Italy by boat. Within thirty minutes we were in Venice.

I am sitting there with Lola on the boat looking at the deep blue water. I put my long brown wavy hair into a bun right before we get off the boat.

We see Casino Degli Spiriti then campo della Maddalena. We head to our hotel called Ad Lofts Venezia, right next to a flower shop and restaurants. It took us a while to get there but once we did we check in we head up to our room, we see two twin beds with blue comforters. There is a glass window and white curtains draping down to the floor. There was also a bathroom that was big, blue walls, a large shower, a vanity. We set our stuff down, and get ready for a day of exploring. We leave our room and head down to the lobby.

Lola asked the front desk where to go get breakfast and they said there was a cute café right down the street

"Let's go down the street to get coffee, and we can go shopping." Lola had pointed to her phone which had a map and she was right just down the street was a little coffee shop called caffe brasilia.

"Sound like a good plan." we then both exit the hotel lobby and walk the short walk to the coffee place just a few buildings down. The small building had an outdoor seating area with hanging plants where a few couples were sitting around. A little bell rings as we enter the shop, there was a elder man behind the front counter which had cake slices and breakfast goodies inside of it. on the wall was a board with coffee's they have and the breakfast pastries prices.

The man greets us and he asks what we would like, he had dark hair and brown eyes. " Is this to go or dine in?" Lola had quickly responded with to go. I glanced at Lola for her to order first and kept looking. I don't really like coffee but I was hoping for food and maybe a cup of hot chocolate. Lola orders a cappuccino and a muffin and she completely turns to look at me and so does the worker, which startles me since I wasn't completely ready.

"Your turn to order." I look at Lola then at the worker.

"Can I have hot chocolate and a Éclair please?" The worker turned around and started making the coffee and put the pastries in a bag. We paid and each grabbed our drinks and I grabbed the bag of food and Lola had held the door open for me on our way out.

Lola then walked down to a near shop and we looked through the glass windows to look at all the outfits and souvenirs. We had spent all afternoon looking at shops and we had gone to a few tourist places on the way. I walked into a shop and asked to use the phone and I called my mom and I told her how it was here and how it is almost five o'clock. She had told me it was just later morning there in america. Once I was done with the call we walked a bit more.

It was the evening and the sun was just going down, the sun's pink, blue, purple rays of light peek just over the buildings as it sets.

It's the Rialto Bridge sunset.

Lola and I saw the Palazzo Loredan before going back to our hotel. It was a nice eight minute stroll down the streets.

We had been walking around for house I was tired and when I saw our hotel in the distance I got excited to see how I would be able to take a shower soon and sleep in a comfortable bed.

We got into the hotel and we plop down onto the soft cloud-like bed, it was so comfortable and me and Lola looked at each other in shock of how the beds had felt. We turned on the T.V and she took a shower and once she got out and dressed she sat on the edge of my bed that was next to the window.

I bent down to go dig through my bag that was right next to my bed and I remember about the candy bar unfortunately it had been crushed and melted so I couldn't eat it.

"Hey you wanna watch a movie?" she looked at me and grabbed the remote and started scrolling through the free movies as her wet hair was dripping down the back of her shirt.

"What kind of movie? Are you going to force me to watch some Romance movie or something?" I looked down at my arm and pulled a hair tie off my wrist and put Lolas hair into a ponytail.

"I know you don't like that kind of stuff. I was going to see if there is an action one or a comedy one for you." She then stops scrolling through the movies and stops on a movie that was one I had never seen before. It looked like a comedy.

"This movie is perfect for you." she then clicks it, then right before it starts to play she paused it and looked at me with a worried look.

"Wait we don't have snacks! I just took a shower though."

"Could you go to the store on the corner and get us some candy? We can't have a movie without any candy."
