Eve felt something damp nuzzling her cheek, causing her to stir in her sleep. Her eyes fluttered open as she felt something shift around her. She reached out and felt a soft furry substance and smiled, remembering she had healed and befriended an intimidating, yet beautiful creature before she fell asleep. She sighed and pulled her self up, allowing the creature to fully pull away, taking it's warmth with it. Eve smiled, "Hello," she said as it's ruby red eyes met her own.

"Hello." the creature replied, "Did you sleep well, young one?" Eve blinked, the smiled as she stood up and stretched, smoothing down her dress and adjusting her cloak. "I think so." she replied, tilting her head. "Did I sleep well if I did not dream?" she asked, a curious confusion in her eyes. The creature cocked its head at her, studying her, finally it said, "How do you know you didn't?" Eve pondered that for a moment before smiling, "Because, if I had dreamed I would remember it." The creature made a rumbling sound, which sounded like it's equivalent to a human chuckle. "Sometimes the most wonderful dreams are the easiest to forget." it replied, moving over to where Eve had left her basket. Eve watched as it picked it up by the handle and brought it too her. She sighed, reaching out to take the basket from the creature's maw. "Why would someone forget something if it was so wonderful?" she asked, her scrutinizing gaze following the creature as it walked around her, stretching it's legs. The Creature gently nudged her to begin walking, Eve began walking without complaint, her small rant continuing. "I mean, if dreamed of you as a child, I know I wouldn't forget That!" The creature let out another rumbling laugh at this statement. "how could you know how my younger self looks If you don't know what I am?" the creature hummed, watching as the young heir squatted down to pull yet another flower from the ground and place it in the basket with the rest. Eve grinned, "I wasn't born without an imagination." she remarked, "Now that you mention it though, what are you?"
"I'm what the mortals call a wolf, but I am nothing like my wild brethren."
"If you're nothing like them, why do you call yourself one of them?" Asked Eve, who was beginning to weave a Bracelet from the flowers.
"I call myself a wolf because I once was a wolf," said the wolf, sniffing at the air and adjusting their course. "I was just like the rest of them when I was mortal, but now I have evolved to act less. . . Instinctively."
Eve tilted her head at the wolf's responce. "You growled at me yesterday, that seems pretty instinctual to me."
The wolf flinched slightly, "that was a reflex, not an intinct." The wolf said,"if you were that hurt, wouldn't you rather not have had people touch you?" It said, turning it head to glance at Eve.
Eve smirked, "No, I'm not as old and stubborn as you, so I would've been fine with someone touching me when I'm hurt, especially if I could sense that they were more afraid of me than I was of them."
The wolf almost choked at her words, "I am not old," it grumbled, "I might be stubborn, but I'm not old."
"you act old," Eve replied, glancing up from her flower weaving.
"No, I just act more mature and cautiously."
"Nope~you are old, you're just too stubborn to admit it." Eve asserted, with a tone of finality.
The wolf groan-growled, shaking it's head. "Fine I'm older and wiser than you. Does thst sound fair?"
Eve smiled, "Yes grandma, that sound perfectly fair."
The wolf jolted, "I'm not that old!!!" She groaned.
Eve just laughed and went back to picking and weaving various plants and flowers together.
The wolf huffed and focused back on leading them through the woods.

How do want Eve to respond to her second test? If you don't remember what it is, just ask and I'll clarify.
Sincerely, Lou.
