"Today, January 3rd and there are new reports saying that there is evidence that Chou Tzuyu is not related to the Chous. There has been a constant rumour during the transition from 2019 to 2020 as reports have been saying they've seen Tzuyu with another family. It has been revealed that it is her bodyguard's family, Im Nayeon. The Im family and the Chous have been seen together at a Christmas party. Other reports say it was just a gathering of Nayeon's parents, but it has been confirmed that the Im family once had a child which was given away to the Chous. Could Tzuyu be blood related to the Im family or could it be a coincidence?"

"GOSH DAMMIT!" Nayeon screamed and threw the remote across the room.
"Calm down, it'll be fine." Tzuyu placed her hand on her sister's shoulder.
"No it won't be Tzuyu. If you go up on that press conference you'll be hated."
"For what? Telling the truth?" Tzuyu questioned.
"Confirming this would only make your company lose a lot of profit." Nayeon growled.

"From who? People who only buy from CEOs who actual blood-related to the company?" Tzuyu scoffed, "It's 2020, people have to accept for who I am."
Nayeon kept silent for a moment her hands trembled, "I know... I just don't want you to get hurt." She said, "I don't want to see you be embarrassed or booed off."

Tzuyu saw tears forming in the corner of her eyes, there she hugged her tightly.
"That's not going to happen. I may be the heir of the company, but I am your sister. Whatever happens you're still my family." She smiled and Nayeon was so touched by her words.
"At 3:00 pm is the press conference. Your parents will be there and so will the others." Nayeon smiled.
.
.
.
The time was 2:50 pm, the press were anticipating the arrival of the Chous.
Outside of the room, there waited her friends to support her.
They've heard the news that spreader like wildfire, they instantly went to the press conference.
Tzuyu needed them, very very badly.

"Tzuyu's here." Dahyun pointed.
Flashes from the cameras followed her inside, Tzuyu and her parents walked in the room and the crowd started the ramble.
Her friends stood at the side as she walked on stage with her parents.
Mr Chou took the podium, all eyes directed at him.

"Regarding the news about the recent information..." He looked over to Tzuyu. He was a bit hesitant at first, "I'll lend you over to the heir of the company."
Tzuyu stepped back, but she was ushered into her place as she was now looking crowd. Their judgemental-looking eyes and persistent faces always caught her off-guard. She had hated facing them this way the first time as the new heir, but to tell the truth of her real parents.

It was inevitable to be in this situation. She knew that.
'Why now?' She thought, 'I'm not ready.'
Her heart pounded in her chest, her ears started to ring loudly.
"I...I..." She couldn't utter a word. Her friends grasped onto each other hoping she'll gain enough courage. Yet, they couldn't stand to see Tzuyu frozen on the spot. She desperately needed someone.
'I can't do this.' She cried.

Then, she felt someone take her hand and held it securely. It felt warm, she looked to the side of her.
Sana stood by here and with a tender look; she smiled.
"You can do this." Sana lifted both their hands just onto the podium.

Tzuyu took a large, deep breathe.
"Regarding the news, it is all true."
The whole room started to chatter loudly.
"I didn't know until a year ago, my parents kept it a secret from me. They couldn't have a baby, so they adopted me from the Im family, my sister, Im Nayeon also know as my bodyguard overheard their conversation at our trip to London, she always protected me and treated me as her little sister. So please, although I'm not blood related to the Chous, I will take full responsibility for my company. I will do my best."

She finished her sentence worrying what others would think of her.
"Thank you." Tzuyu bowed and stood with Sana to one side.
Mrs Chou took the podium and addressed a few details and after the whole ordeal, they were allowed to leave.

As crowds of people circled around them, they pushed through to their cars and ended up in Tzuyu's house.
"Your parents will be at their company to fix a few things." Nayeon said as she stopped the car.
"That's fine." Tzuyu uttered. Sana held her hand the whole time and even now she never let go.

They went inside the house and sat in the living room silently talking to themselves.
The bodyguards headed into the kitchen, Nayeon headed for the fridge.
"It went better than I expected. How about some drinks?"
"Sure."
Nayeon grabbed a whole pack of beer and in a few minutes she drank about two-and-a-half cans.
Her friends seemed uneasy.

"I think you had too much." Jihyo took the can away, but Nayeon stared at her.
"Yah! Jeongyeon... look at me." Nayeon sluggishly said as she faced Jihyo.
"Does she think you're me?" Jeongyeon asked.
"Here we go again." Jihyo sighed, "I'm having flashbacks."
They let Nayeon do her thing.

"Youuu... coward, silly... weirdo." She shouted as she continued to talk even more nonsense and profanity.
"Is this what she thinks of me?" Jeongyeon looked shocked.
"This would be funny if it was actually directed towards you." Jihyo shifted away, but Nayeon kept grabbing onto her collar and pulled her close.

"Yah! Why... why don't you marry me now?! You coward?!" Nayeon whispered, they both heard it clearly.
The room grew silent and the oldest girl passed out onto the table.
"You've dated a crazy one." Jihyo laughed.
