Dates And Raisins

Wow, long chapter... or longer than usual

Calamari POV

I called Mina over to my dorm around 4 and asked her to help me get ready. I didn't tell her that I was going on a date with Shinso; nor had I told anyone else. Despite her constant nagging to tell her why I needed her help I never said a word. 

"Mina can't you just help me look good?"

"But why~" Mina whined stretching the 'y' sound. "You need to tell me why~"

"Look, I ain't saying nothing but I really need your help getting ready."

"Fine, fine." She walked over to my closet and started flicking through clothes as I went to grab stuff for my hair. "But, ya know, if you are going on a date with Shinso you can tell me."

My face flushed read and I fumbled over the things on my bed.

"Me, Shinso, date? Never... I'm not even gay Mina." I rubbed the back of my neck hoping she couldn't tell I was lying.

"Please, honey you know how many times I've seen the bi flag sticker that you hid in your closet?" She pushed some clothes aside and showed me the sticker with her hand on her hip. get it his sexuailties in the closet... ba dum bah (oh and you can imagine it as any flag as I cant pick what I think his sexuality would be, I just think it'd be queer)

My mouth made an o shape and I just sat down on my bed awkwardly.

"Plus, your outburst about Shinso being "yours" would've raised suspicions if I didn't already know"

After a while of looking through my wardrobe she pulled out an outfit and told me to get changed. She brushed out my hair and added some light makeup to my face. Time had flown by and it was now 4:57. I got up and thanked Mina for her help. We then walked downstairs into the common area and that's when Shinso came down the stairs. 

I gayzed (sorry) at his beautiful complexion. 'Damn he was perfect'. Mina brought me out of my gay thoughts and whispered in my ear.

"Go get your manz Kami." and with that Mina walked away pulling a lenny face.

"Hey Calamari, you ready to go?" Shinso asked me as he approached.

"Sure!" I grabbed his hand and a blush spread across our faces; I then proceeded to lead him out the door and towards our date location.

Shinso POV

We arrived at the funfair and it was now 5:40. The sky was minutes away from being consumed by darkness. The fair's lights lit up the area and gave me a nostalgic feeling. I turned to Kaminari and gave his hand a light squeeze. As he turned around I was able to see the spark in his eyes and his bright smile made my heart whimper. 

"What do you wanna do first?" I asked him

"Uh- you can pick." He replied

We ended up going on a few rides, then through a maze and now we had just eaten. I grabbed Kami's hand as we started walking in no specific direction. I was expecting to just go on a small stroll with him and then head back to the dorms but as we approached the are near the docks he started running towards a ride. The ferris wheel. There, near the waters edge, sat a tall ride that was lit up by fairy lights and surrounded by old fair music. 

"Can we go on one last ride?" He stopped and looked up at me with pleading eyes, like I was gonna say no!

No one can resist his cuteness.

"Of course Calamari." 

He let out an adorable giggle and dragged me over to the line. The line was quite short as it was getting late and not many people were still at the fair. In a matter of a minute or so Kami and I were getting into a carriage. The safety bar was lowered and locked on top of us. Kaminari took my hand and interlaced our fingers. 

As the wheel slowly started to turn and bring us upwards I could feel my head start spinning.

'Crap, I forgot I had a fear of heights...'

A worried sigh escaped my lips and Kami squeezed my hand a little and I rested my head on his shoulder. Our height difference challenged this but as we were both sitting down it was a little easier. 

"Really; you, the edgy, gothic, loner is afraid of heights?"

"Stop judging me knock off pikachu"  I nuzzled the side of my head further into his shoulder and he let out a chuckle.

I felt much safer clinging onto him. We were now approaching the top, around 40 feet in the air. The scenery was almost as beautiful as Kaminari; nothing will ever  be able to compare to his stunning and flawless appearance. As we were admiring the view and I had untangled myself a little from him the ferris wheel faltered and rocked. Quicker than you could say 'gay' I had latched back onto him.

"Hey, it'll be okay Shin." He lifted my chin up so I wasn't buried in his chest but instead locking eyes with his. 

I slowly recomposed myself not leaving my gayze (sorry) from his eyes once. We stared into each others eyes for what seemed like eternity but was only a few minutes. I could've been lost in his vibrant, deep eyes forever but my mind came back to me as we inched our faces towards each other. 

Slowly our breaths were mixed and our lips only millimetres apart. His eyes gazed down to my lips and I did the same with his lips. Then the gap closed and we melted into the kiss. My first kiss. With the most amazing boy I could've asked for. The touch of his soft lips against mine felt magical. The kiss was gentle and slow. 

After around 10 or 20 seconds of rhythmically moving our lips together the gap was reopened. His mouth turned upwards into a bright smile and I followed suit. I felt like I was on cloud nine because of how ecstatic the kiss made me feel. The carriage jerked again and started moving down. Kami let out a small chuckle and cuddled into my side for the last few seconds we were on the ride. 

We made our way out of the funfair and back towards the dorms,

Tonight had been amazing!

Ok, describing the kiss was really weird and ya'll probably cringed... I obviously ain't good at writing stuff like that (Or stuff in general (I can't write))
