ahaha Minaaa, Shinso belongs to Kami!

Denki POV

The bell for lunch break had just rang and everyone was shuffling out of their seats. Mina turned around to kiri and I. 

"That was such a boring lesson." She crossed her arms

"I wasn't really paying attention, I guess I was too tired to think straight." I nervously laughed.

It was true I hadn't being paying attention but the reason wasn't I was too tired, I just couldn't keep my mind off the beautiful, purple, insomniac who I had confessed to last night. I guess I really wasn't thinking straight. At least that wasn't a lie about that. 

"Hey Kami, go tell Shinso to sit with us at lunch." Mina turned around and hooked her arm with Kirishima's.

They walked off and met up with Sero and Bakugo. Well guess I have to go talk to him and get him to join us. I was still a little nervous; what if what he said last night was a lie? It probably was I'm too hyper for him to actually like me. I turned back towards his desk but he was... gone, just gone. I asked a couple of different people like Tsuyu and Ojirou if they had seen where he went but they couldn't answer me. 

I was a little relieved that I wasn't going to have to talk to Shinso. I decided to not go looking for him and gave in to defeat. I ran towards the Bakusquad who were now leaving the classroom. I followed them to the cafeteria silently until Mina turned to me.

"Kamiiii," She whined "You didn't bring the cute boy!"

"I couldn't find him however I did bring myself." I tried to go back to my overconfident personality by making a stupid joke. 

"If only that were true." Jirou patted on my back and I let out an upset hum.

We sat down and talked about random stuff. I wasn't as talkative as usual but no one seemed to notice. I thought for sure Kiri or Mina would notice me acting strange then interrogate me; and then sometime down the interrogation I would out myself. I was suddenly brought back from zoning out when I heard 'crushes' and 'Shinso' in the same sentence. 

"Yeah sure Shinso's cute but I wouldn't go as far as to say a crush... yet" Mina told the group

"Good." I muttered under my breath.

"What'd ya say Kami?" Sero asked, I guess he could hear me as we were sitting next to each other.

"Nothin." I quickly said as I was flustered.

"C'mon Kami, don't think we haven't noticed your slight change in personality." Kirishima said while resting his head on Bakubro's shoulder.

I was starting to panic thinking that they were going to the whole "interrogation" situation I've thought of. I needed to change the subject; I looked around the table and thought of kiribaku, one of Mina's otps. 

"Uh- look Mina Kiribaku is sailing!" I pointed to the two and Bakubro pushed Kiri's head off of him. 

"You're totally right!" she squealed, but suddenly her face dropped "Now what's wrong?"

"Nothing-" I hummed out "Just keep talking about how cute Shinso is; you seem to enjoy that." 

I whispered the last part in a cold tone as I really didn't like her talking about him like that. I know if she knew I liked him she wouldn't dare but I wasn't ready to say something. 

"I'll get to the bottom of this, in the meantime Shinso is really cute! You agree right Jirou?" 

"Mina, you know I like Momo." Jirou told her in a hushed voice as the rest of class a wasn't far from us. 

"Hmph well I can't ask their opinions on him cause they're obviously smitten," Mina pointed to Kiri and Bakugo "And I can't ask ya'll because ya'll don't like boys," She pointed to Jirou, Sero and I. little does she know!

"Sucks to be you!" Sero teased Mina.

"He is really cut though, I might go as far as to say hot." Mina continued "the way his purple hair bounces is so attractive. And his lips look soft probably perfect for kissing." 

She kept on talking about him but I decided I couldn't listen. I was kinda sour with the way she was talking about him, after all he likes me... right? I really wanted to say something to shut her up this was driving me insane. I decided that lunch was gonna end soon and I should join back into their conversation. As I was lifting my head off the table the words I heard made me snap.

"You know, I think I do have a crush on Shinso." Mina said rather contently.

"WHAT THE HELL MINA!" I stood up and yelled which got the attention of a lot of people, most being from our class "SHINSO'S MINE, BACK THE FRIDGE OFF!" 

My eyes widened as I realised what I had just said. I slowly sat back down and accidently made eye contact with Shinso who just smirked™. 

"What? Wait- Kami do you like Shinso?" Her eyes lit up the way it does whenever she gets a new ship, I guess she just likes shipping over being shipped.

The bell went signalling the end of break, I just got up and didn't say anything to the Bakusquad. I silently walked back to class and sat down. I could feel a lot of stares and my ears picked up a couple of conversations concerning Shinso and I; I just shook it off.

There was one stare, however, I couldn't shake.
