Louis’ POV
“All the kids are really excited to see you Julie. Alfie especially.” Harry smiled as we drove down our street. Coffee went well enough, we learnt some more about Jesse. I suppose he wasn’t as bad as I thought he was. Although I still don’t like the idea of him staying.
“He’s adorable. We Skyped a few times while I was away. Did you know he has a crush?” She asked with a smirk.
“Yeah, Ellie? She came over for dinner the other night because they had to work on an assignment together. They’re cute.” Harry smiled proudly.
“They are aren’t they? He better make a move soon though, apparently there’s some other guy interested in her. I mean they’re already fighting over girls at 14!” I laughed.
“I know. Back when I was 14 I was convinced I was going to marry Ryan Gosling. Sadly that’s not the case.” Julie sighed dramatically making us all laugh. “In all seriousness though, Alfie’s certainly grown up a lot in the last few years. I miss us hanging out and watching Toy Story together, thanks to Uncle Liam.” She smiled. “How is Uncle Liam and Uncle Niall?” She asked as I pulled up outside the house.
“They’re…rocky.” Harry answered.
“Oh. I wish they never spilt up.” She sighed.
“It’s ok Jules.” Jesse smiled, rubbing her back. I tried my hardest not to glare at him in the rear-view mirror and instead opened the door and hopped out. Everyone followed and Harry and I got all the stuff out of the car.
“JULIE!” Gemma yelled running out of the house.
“AUNT GEM!” Julie yelled back, hugging her tightly.
“Oh I’ve missed you honey.” Gemma sighed, squeezing her.
“I’ve missed you too.”
“Geez Gem, she needs to breathe.” Harry chuckled.
“Shut up Harry! I haven’t seen her in ages. We need to catch up.” She smirked. “So how have you been? How was the US? And who is this?” She smiled noticing Jesse standing in the back awkwardly.
“Oh, this is Jesse. Babe this is my Aunt Gemma. Dad’s sister.” Juliet smiled.
“Harry’s sister.” Gemma laughed.
“Nice to meet you.” He smiled.
“You too.” Gem smiled back.
“Julie?! You’re back!” Alfie yelled noticing the commotion outside.
“Hey little bro. Come and give me a hug!” She laughed. He ran over and they hugged tightly. They always had a strong bond, it was sweet seeing them like that.
“I missed you.” He mumbled.
“I missed you too Alfie.” She smiled kissing the top of his head.
“So, did you bring me back anything?” He asked jokingly.
“Using me! That’s all you want me for.” She chuckled loudly. “Actually I may have brought you something but you’ll have to wait until later on to see what. This is Jesse by the way.” She smiled.
“Oh, hi.” Alfie said suddenly nervous.
“Hi.” Jesse smiled, being friendly.
“C’mon. Let’s go inside.” Harry smiled too. Everyone nodded and went inside out of the cold. Alfie and Julie chatting on the way in.
“Julie’s back!” Anna smiled widely.
“Hey guys.” Juliet smiled at Her, Darcy, Ashton and Jacob who were all sitting on the couch in the lounge.
“We all missed you!” Ashton smiled running to hug her around her waist.
“Aw! I missed you all too. Even you Darce.” She joked.
“Rude!” Darcy smirked poking het tongue out at her. They all took turns hugging her and then she introduced them to Jesse as we took her bags up to her room. I’m glad we finally moved and found a bigger place. So much more room!
“You’re doing good with the whole Jesse thing babe. I’m proud of you.” Harry smiled putting his hands on my hips.
“Thanks. I still want to hit him but I won’t. As long as he sleeps on the couch and has a shirt on at all times.” I said seriously.
“I’m sure he can manage that. I don’t think he’d be too comfortable walking around like that in a gay household anyway.” He chuckled.
“Why? It’s not like any of us is going to crack onto him. I hate his guts.”
“I dunno Lou but if I was him I probably wouldn’t.” He shrugged.
“Yes but you’re weird.” I said seriously.
“No kiss for you now Louis. You’ve hurt my feelings.” He sighed pulling away from me.
“We’re you going to kiss me?” I questioned.
“Yes I was and you ruined it with you mean comments.” He said pretending to be hurt.
“Get over it you baby.”
“You’re not making it any better there Lou.” Harry laughed.
“Yeah yeah.” I chuckled. “I miss this.” I smiled.
“What, you calling me mean things?” He asked.
“No, us being alone. We’re never alone anymore. I like having time to ourselves.” I answered.
“Me too. Does that make us sound old?” He questioned.
“I guess it does.” I laughed.
“I don’t care. As long as I’m alone with you.” He smiled leaning closer to me. I smiled back and stood up on my toes a bit, closing the gap between us. We kissed sweetly and he lifted me up so I could wrap my legs around his waist. We continued kissing as Harry softly placed me on the bed. Suddenly we heard a gasp.
“GUYS! Gross! Get off my bed!” Julie yelled, making us pull apart quickly. “Ewwww!”
“Sorry Julie.” Harry mumbled.
“We may have got a bit carried away.” I blushed getting up.
“You think?! And you were worried about me and Jesse!” She sighed. “I think you should go.” She said pointing towards the door. We both nodded and hurried out, before cracking up laughing.
“I can’t believe we got caught.” I chuckled.
“It was so worth it.” He laughed. I nodded agreeing and we made our way downstairs, still laughing.
“What were you two up to?” Gemma asked meeting us at the bottom of the stairs.
“Nothing. Why does it concern you?” Harry smirked. Even after all these years those two still have some sibling rivalry thing going on. It’s honestly annoying.
“Just wondering. Are you making lunch?”
“Are you staying?” He joked.
“Shut up and answer the question.”
“We’ll make lunch won’t we babe?” I smiled.
“Sure.” He muttered stomping off to the kitchen.
“You love annoying him don’t you?” I chuckled.
“Yep. Works every time.” She laughed high-fiving me before walking off. I sighed before meeting Harry in the kitchen.
“My sister is one piece of work.” He grumbled.
“She was just winding you up Haz. She thinks it’s funny.”
“Well it’s not. She’s annoying. Doesn’t she have her own family to go home to instead of hanging around ours?”
“She is our family Harry. And she’s here to see Julie. Just let it go yeah?” I smiled rubbing his shoulders.
“Yeah, for Julie.” He sighed but smiled eventually. We got stuck into making dinner while the kids all had a laugh with Juliet being home. I missed her so much, it’s going to be hard watching her go off to Uni. But I know she’ll be ok.
