{COMPLETED!} ✔️A Ninjago short story: The Ninjas meet their future selves!✔️

A/n: Hey, everyone! It's me, Flare! I'm back with a super weird story that came across my mind just now. Basically, it takes place at the end of season five when the ninjas are battling Morro. Morro uses the power of the Realm Crystal to send them to the future! (Season 10, March of the Oni) Keep in mind that this is an Au, so most of the events don't occur in the actual show. So, without further ado, let's start this!

Lloyd's POV: (Season 5)

"Guys, we have to get the Realm Crystal back! We can't let Morro escape!" 

The ninjas follow my lead as we attempt to reclaim the Realm Crystal. We cannot have Morro getting away with it!

"You won't be getting it that easy!" Morro hisses, knocking the five of us off-balance. Morro uses the Realm Crystal to summon a blinding portal the sucks the five of us inside.

My team and I attempt to escape, but the portal's energy is too strong. With a mighty force, it sucks us inside.

"Where the hell are we? Where did that cursed object take us?!" Jay shouts, looking around.

"According to my database, we are in Ninjago! But why would Morro just send us back to the city?"

I take a quick look around. Black smoke is pouring off of many buildings, an eerie aura surrounding us. 

"It's Ninjago, but it's... changed. What has Morro done?" Cole mutters.

"Well, we should get back to Stixx... Morro's probably still there, right?" We all nod, and the ninjas follow my lead.

The walk to Stixx took multiple hours, and it wasn't at all worth it. Stixx was basically deserted! There was no one in sight, and surprisingly, it wasn't destroyed! Everything was back to its original state.

The moonlight reflected off the water, giving Stixx a magnificent glow. My team and I take a moment to try to process what had happened. I mean, Stixx is practically perfect!

"Woah," Kai breathes. "How is Stixx so peaceful? Morro was just here, hours ago!"

I sigh. "Whatever the reason is, I'm glad it's this way. My only question is, why is there no sign of anyone here? Everything's abandoned!"

Zane scans the area, and shakes his robotic head. "My sensors show that there hasn't been anyone here for weeks."

"How is that possible?" Cole murmurs, "Morro was just here!"

"Maybe we should return to Ninjago City. Then we can ask Sensei what happened," Kai suggests. The team nods in agreement.

Lloyd's POV: (Season 10)

"I don't trust him, Lloyd! What if he tries to kill us?!" Jay whisper-screams. I sigh.

"Look, Jay. We don't trust him any more than you do. But he's our only chance of saving Ninjago!" Kai says.

My team and I return to the monastery with my father. Sensei greets us, and gasps in surprise when he sees my father.

My mother gives the same reaction as well. My father only growls in response.

Sensei notices our frowns. "What's wrong, my pupils? Where's Cole?"

We could only shake our heads in response. "Cole's... gone," Jay manages to squeak.

"It's all my fault," Nya says, tears forming in her eyes. "I pulled the lever the wrong way, and Cole flew off."

Sensei pats her on the shoulder. "We should be thankful for what we have, though I will mourn Cole's loss as well."

My father tosses the golden armor to Wu. "Stop being gloomy and make yourself useful, brother."
