The sun was shining brightly as afternoon was about to come. Wind blew hard as leaves came falling off the trees and passed by our blind eyes and rests on the ground for what it may seemed forever. We were quietly sitting down as a silver haired jonin crosses his arms in front of us - leaning against the bars that held his back.
"Okay, let's introduce ourselves - shall we? State your name, hobbies and your dream. Ready?" he started, his voice sounding a bit too husky as if he was never interested in this. He seemed like a boring person from afar.
"I'm Naruto Uzumaki!" a voice startled me as the blonde head raised his voice yappily. "My hobby is eating ramen at Ichiraku and my dream is to be a hokage! Then the whole village will start treating me like somebody - somebody important!"
Somebody important, huh. I guess we all wanted to be someone important. We all wanted to feel special. We all wanted to be cared by somebody else to keep us assured.
"Okay, anyone next?" he said, shifting his eyes on each one of us.
"I'm Sakura Haruno!" the pink haired girl turned in - her hands were tucked under her chin as if she was getting dreamy. "My dream is ... um ..." she stuttered, taking short glances at the guy next Naruto. The ravenette who had no interest at anything at all like there was no one around him. His eyes struck one glance at something particular or whatever it is. He seemed to stare at just one direction. Sakura squeeled slightly and the silver jonin had to move next and had to skip her since she isn't going to speak normal if she does that squeeling.
"How about you?" the jonin took a glance at the ravenette - his hands locked and rested under his nose and propped on thighs.
"....I'm Sasuke Uchiha." he replied lowly. "I don't have any hobbies and I don't have any particular dream - all I want is to avenge my clan and kill a certain person." he muttered darkly, his lips stuffed behind his cold hands.
The jonin blinked several times before he shifted his eyes on me. His narrow eyes looked far mysterious than any eye I've seen.
He asked, "How about you there?"
It took me several seconds before I could respond to his question. I shook my head slightly, "I'm Keita Tsuke. I don't have any hobbies - nor a dream." I replied.
I have no interest in telling what my intentions are. It's as if they'll be of any help. It's helpless and pointless to tell what I feel to anyone.
The silver haired man sighed, his mask folded slightly.
"How about you, sensei?" Sakura asked out of the blue, "why don't you introduce yourself?"
I couldn't tell his expression due to his mysterious appearance. Who wears a mask covering from his neck to his nose? I can hardly tell his emotions and facial expressions.
"Well, my name is Kakashi Hatake. I have lots of hobbies and my dream is not to be shared with you. Basically that's it." he blantly spoke. He pushed hinself off the bar and shoved his hands into his pockets.
"Listen up." he started, "We're going to meet by sunrise tomorrow. 5AM, you should be at the training grounds. No eating breakfast - otherwise there will be punishments. I will know who eats breakfast by tomorrow. Understood?" he stared at us - his glares looked threatening. But it didn't shook me off, probably just a slight shake but I can manage. He just needs a bit more of observing and I will soon read his expressions, hopefully.
he chatterings and endless laughters from the people deafened me as I walked across the village. The sun was dawning as everyone in the village started packing up; it was time to go home.
