A/N: The Picture of Naruto around Chapter 1 - Chapter 4. He's the same as Keita, by the way. :) -->
Naruto's POV
"Are you following me?" the red haired boy suspected as his other leg dangled off the branch.
"Ghh, why would I?" I hissed. This jerk thinks he's all mighty to make me follow him. Is he even serious?
"Tch." he darted his eyes away from mine haughtily. I could feel the grit I made in my teeth, I felt frustrated with his attitude. He's similar to Sasuke.
Not seconds, he hopped off the branch and turns back on me upon landing.
"Guess I'll see you around." he said, not glancing back nor turning his head. Then, he started stepping forward as he walked away from me.
"Wait." I muttered, causing him to stop from his steps. I see him glance over his shoulder.
".....Eat ramen with me." I insisted. It took minutes for him to respond as he slowly turns to me.
"....sure." he smiled. Seeing how bright his smile is, I replied him with a toothy grin.

We stopped at Ichiraku's as we stood by the shop. It was dark and it was about time for dinner. I hope it won't be a time where his parents will come and get him. I'd always experience those kinds of things on other kids - parents come and get them at this kind of time. I wonder why he's not going home yet.
"Umm ... why aren't you going home yet?" I asked dumbly as I sweatdropped, rubbing the back of my head
"You insisted me to eat ramen with you. And now you're asking me why I'm not going home yet?" he cocked an eyebrow.
Tch! Wrong question, Naruto!
"No, no, no, no, no!" I chanted, "I-I mean, aren't your parents gonna come and get you like any other kids? You know, for dinner or some sort?" Anime sweat came through the side of my forehead, revealing my idiotic qualities.
The red haired boy named Keita stared lowly down the ground, like he was deep in thoughts. I glanced at him until he spoke up, "My parents are busy."
Huh? At this kind of time?
"They're busy with ninja stuff. Kids like us should really stay away with grown-up things." he scratched the back of his head as he turned to me.
I grinned from ear to ear. This is the first time I could spend my night with someone else without their parents interrupting.
I felt relieved. Yes!
I reached out for my wallet in my pocket, finding no amount of money inside. Damn! Is this a nine year old's wallet?! O-oh no.
"Is there a problem?" Keita glanced at me who noticed my sudden shock of finding my wallet empty. How are we supposed to eat ramen? Dammit!
"A-ah, um ... The thing is ..." I started scratching the back of my head, "I have no money right now."
Keita who seemed bewildered, glanced away and uttered, "Tch!" I have to find a way to let him stay and talk with me. We could play or something!
"Keita!" I called as he started walking away from me and the shop. He paused and turned his head, "What?"
I stammered for a few words, I didn't know what to say. This is my chance of making a friend, even just one friend! Someone to share my happiness with, someone to talk to.
