It was the day I would never forget,
When you said goodbye and walked out from the door.
I was left with tears in my eyes and full of regrets,
Wishing I was just dreaming and we could still go back to what we were before.
Suffocated by the pain I feel inside,
Guilt was creeping all over my consciousness.
Desperately trying to take a breath and eat my pride,
Stumbling for almost every of my weaknesses.
Been giving all I have to make you stay,
Doing my best to be that girl you've dreamt about.
Even if the pain is reaping me apart,
You're still that one whose inside my heart.
Still not enough and you walked out,
Bringing with you some of my heart's pieces.
You gave me lessons of what's life is all about,
Now I'm left with nothing but broken dreams.
Now, if you would ask me if I had moved on from that painful day,
Sorry but I'm still chained by the thought of you taking my heart away.
