It was dark outside when you finally got back to your dorm. You pushed open the front door, carrying your heels in your hand. Not a soul was in the lobby, everyone was probably asleep. "What a terrible night," you thought to yourself, "Never again..."
You made your way past the bathrooms, and tried to keep your dress from riding up again, when you heard someone behind you.
"You're back late." said Bakugo, drying his hair with a towel. He was shirtless, and specks of water glistened on his toned muscles.
"Oh, uh... hi" you defended, "I had to go to this... thing." You and Katsuki had always been friendlier than he was with the others, but you still didn't think he particularly liked you.
"Yeahhhh, Mineta told everyone you were on a date," he said nonchalantly, tossing the towel around his neck.
"What?! How did he even find out!?"
"Little shits like him have their ways I guess," Bakugo replied as he walked down the hallway with you. "You look nice, though," he said, checking you out in your little black dress. "Who were you trying to impress?"
You had never had this long of a conversation with him before, and it was odd for Bakugo to care about anyone other than himself. But his smirk and arrogant tone made you annoyed, especially after the horrible night you had. "What's it to you?" you teased, "Jealous?"
"Oh, please," he chuckled, "Like I'd want to spend that long with any of you fucking extras. I feel sorry for the poor guy, whoever he was..."
This made you stop in your tracks. "You know, you're not any better than the rest of us Katsuki! And frankly, it's none of your business..." you snapped. Bakugo was surprised. He'd never heard you get angry before.
Suddenly, the weight of this day fell on you full force. You felt tears stinging at the back of your eyes, and you sighed and tried closing them. You slid your back down the wall and sat on the floor. Realizing he upset you, Bakugo walked over and sat down beside you.
"It was just some idiot my father set my up with," you said, blinking the tears back. "But he was completely horrible. I know my father will be disappointed, but I'll die before I go out with that asshole again. I don't know what to do..."
You leaned your head on Bakugo's shoulder, waiting for him to say something. "Why didn't you like him?" he said after a while.
"Well, my father is a pretty powerful guy in the business sector, and that's basically the only reason he went out with me," you explained, "He said I should stop wasting my time in the hero course and get a real profession, and we just don't have anything in common. And on top of that, he..." you trailed off, not sure if you should disclose the next bit of information. You were already telling Katsuki so much...
"He what?" Katsuki questioned.
You sighed. "Well, he wasn't what I imagined my first kiss to be like..." Bakugo looked at you, quietly contemplating. "I don't know, it just seemed so forced. Like, it was scripted or something... There was no real emotion... It's stupid, I know. We don't have to keep talking about this." You stood up and pulled down your dress. "I just wanna forget the whole thing." You attempted a smile and reached out your hand to help him up. "C'mon, let's just go to bed."
Bakugo got up and walked you to your room, staying quiet the whole time. When you reached your room, you could tell he was deep in thought, but you thought it was better not to pry.
"Well, goodnight Katsuki," you said, opening the door to go inside. "Thank you for listening." You were about to head through the doorway, when you felt him grab you by the arm.
The next thing you knew, he was kissing you, and it wasn't like before. This kiss made everything else in the world vanish. Your heart raced and your mind went blank. You could feel his hands on your waist and tangled in your hair. He was so close, heat radiated between you. Your body felt like it was humming all over, and you let out a quiet, accidental moan. This made him press even closer, placing one hand on the wall behind you and pinning you there. His lips were soft, but strong, and you didn't want them to part from yours. Not even to breathe. You would sacrifice breathing if you and Katsuki could stay like this, but just a moment later, he broke away. You looked up at him, breathing heavily.
He grabbed your chin and pulled your face to his for one last kiss. "Something like that?" he said, smirking.
He let go of you and turned away, walking back toward his room.
"Katsuki!" you called after him, but when he turned around you realized you didn't have anything to say. Your mind was still fuzzy, and you just stared.
He smiled. "Don't worry," he said winking, "There's plenty more where that came from..."
