Rumors (BakuDeku Special)

"Hey Kacchan, wait up!" Izuku yelled. He ran up the front steps to UA, catching the blonde haired boy in a hug from behind.

"What the hell! Let go of me you idiot!" Bakugo screamed, pushing Izuku off of him, "Someone is gonna see!"

"So what if they do? They're all going to find out eventually..." Izuku replied with a smile.

"Find out what?" piped in Mina as she walked up the steps.

"Oh, uh..." Izuku glanced at Katsuki, and caught a nasty glare in return. "It's nothing! Nothing at all really!" He laughed nervously, and hoped Mina hadn't seen the hug.

"Hmm... Okay!" she laughed, "Let's hurry up, though, we don't want to be late for class!" Mina pushed the boys toward the school, letting Bakugo grumble profanities the whole way.

(time skip to lunch)

"Hey, Bakugo, what's up?" said Kirishima as he and Kaminari reached the table.

Katsuki looked up from his plate and glared, "What do you want, shitty hair?" he asked.

"Jeez, man. Just wanted to start a conversation." Both boys took a seat, and began to eat. "I haven't seen a lot of you lately, since you started training with Midoriya or whatever."

Bakugo almost choked on his food. "What's that supposed to mean?!"

"It means we haven't gotten a chance to catch up! So what's new?"

"I DON'T KNOW WHAT ANYONE TOLD YOU BUT IT ISN'T TRUE!" Little explosions began to light up in Katsuki's hands as he stood up.

"Jesus, Bakugo, what's wrong? It's not like he accused you of something," said Kaminari calmly. He took another bite.

"Oh..." started Kirishima, "Is this about what Mineta said earlier?"

"WHAT DID MINETA SAY?!"

"Something about the girls being more 'available' now that one of the guys in class came out."

"WHAT DID YOU FUCKING SAY?!?! WHERE IS THE LITTLE SHIT I'M GOING TO KILL HIM!"

"Woah, dude calm down. Nobody thinks it's you. My money is on Midoriya or Todoroki..."

"Oh, wow, you're probably right," agreed Kaminari, "They're totally a thing."

Bakugo stared in disbelief. He threw his trash away and started to leave.

"Hey man, where ya going?!" called Kaminari.

"I'M LOOKING FOR ALIENS!"

(a few moments later...)

"Aw, Ochaco, don't cry! I mean, you had to see this coming..."

Bakugo stopped in his tracks, listening to the conversation coming through the door of the girls' bathroom.

"But I... I thought he liked me!" Uraraka weeped. "I can't believe I wasted all that time dreaming..."

Suddenly, Katsuki burst through the door, nearly blowing it off its' hinges.

"AHHHH!!! What are you doing?! This is the girls bathroom you idiot!" screeched Yaoyorozu.

"WHERE IS THE PINK ALIEN GIRL!" Bakugo howled. He saw Ochaco leaning against one of the sinks and grabbed her shoulders."WHAT DID SHE TELL YOU! TELL ME!" Uraraka winced as Katsuki shook her.

"Calm down, Bakugo." Tsuyu replied. "Mina isn't in here. She's at the library with Midoriya and Todoroki."

Bakugo looked around, alarmed. The girls stared back in confusion, but before they could say another word, he was gone.

(a few seconds later)

"See so you just multiply by the least common denominator and... Oh, hey Kacchan!" Midoriya smiled as he spotted his childhood friend.

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU NERDS DOING?!" Bakugo yelled. This was met by a chorus of "Shhhhh..." from the teachers and students nearby.

"You should really lower your voice in the library," said Todoroki. "We're trying to study."

"Uh... what's the matter Kacchan?" Izuku questioned, quietly. He could practically see the smoke coming from Katsuki's ears.

"I'll deal with you later, Icy Hot. My business is with Strawberry Shortcake," Katsuki growled.

"What did I do?" Mina asked.

"You know what you did! You told everyone didn't you!"

"What? I..."

"Uh... Kacchan, I uh..." Izuku started. People were starting to stare and point at the group. Bakugo was fighting off the urge to explode when they heard a familiar voice.

"What are you all doing bickering in the library?" it asked, sleepily.

"Mr. Aizawa!" said Izuku, "we were uh... "

"Look, I don't care what's going on." Aizawa interrupted. "Just get back to class now, or I'll mark you late."

"Yes sir!" replied the group. Katsuki walked back slowly with everyone, still steaming and wondering what people thought of him now.

(a few hours later)

"Alright class, that's it for today." Aizawa left the room, leaving Class 1-A to spread out and say their goodbyes for today.

Katsuki was about to book it out of there, when a pink finger tapped on his shoulder.

"Hey, uh Bakugo? I know you're a total hot head, but I couldn't help but feel like you're mad at me for something." she said quietly.

"Yeah, well, I'm over it. The secrets out so go ahead and ruin my reputation. I don't care what you losers think of me." He stood up and started to leave the room, but Izuku stood in his way.

"Move, Deku, I'm going home." Katsuki growled.

"Kacchan wait!" Deku yelped, "Mina didn't do anything wrong! She didn't tell anybody anything, and neither did I. Not about... us... anyway."

The ears and eyes of the classroom were starting to turn toward them. "What are you talking about, Deku?" Bakugo asked, impatiently.

"Well... I didn't tell anyone about us, but... I decided to come out to some people today!" Deku said excitedly, "I mean, I thought I liked girls originally, but, uh... well I think I might like both girls and guys! Or maybe just guys... but I mean, sexuality changes, and people are usually cool about it and...." Izuku muttered on for a while, and Bakugo shook his head.

"Wait, did you think I told everyone that you were gay?" Mina asked from the other side of the room.

Bakugo sighed and closed his eyes. 

"Oh my god, are you dating Deku! That explains so much!" she shrieked.

"WILL YOU SHUT UP!" He whipped around, ready to unleash an explosion. But by this time, the whole class had heard what went down.

"I knew it!" one of the girls said.

"Woah, Bakugo, why didn't you tell us dude?" asked Kirishima. "It's not like we think of you any different, now."

"Yeah, why would we?" Kaminari laughed, "I mean, Jiro's bi and that doesn't seem to bother anybody..."

"KAMINARI WILL YOU SHUT UP YOU IDIOT!" screamed Jiro, waving her arms furiously as everyone laughed.

"You're still as badass as ever! Probably even more so now that you're with Midoriya!" Kirishima gave Bakugo a friendly fist bump.

Bakugo couldn't help but smile. He listened to the class congratulate him and Deku some more, and then decided it was time to head home. "I should've known you extras couldn't help but worship me no matter what!" He laughed and turned back toward the door.

Izuku was there waiting patiently. "See? I told you they'd find out." he said grinning.

"Oh shut up, nerd." Bakugo smirked. As they left the room, he quietly took Izuku's hand, and held it the entire way home.
