"What could have brought you?" a little girl with long dark green hair sleepily spoke, "What are you anyway, child?" "I'm Rin, and I'm a human." I softly spoke. "I shall not ever grow accustomed to the sound of human names. It also seems that we both share the same date of birth. I...I think it's time for a nap"
"Hey Rin, it's time to wake up" two familiar voices came to my ears.. "Were you having that dream again? The one of the girl?" Jeralt grabbed my shoulder in comfort. I noded looking at father and brother. "Are you ready to go, sister?" Byleth spoke in a calm voice "Of course, brother" I looked at him thinking about the dream. We started walking to our next mission having to pass thought a vast forest. We have been walking for hours. Brother looked at me and tried to make me laugh like all the times before. Since I was the younger sister, he'll do things to make me laugh and smile. Both him and father were overprotective of me even though they train me to protect myself. There was a rustling in the bushes. Three children started running towards us. A girl with long white hair, lilac eyes, and wore red and black clothing: she was holding an axe. the next was a boy who wore dark blue clothing and with black clothing, he has a lance, golden blonde hair and light blue eyes, the last was a boy who wore yellow clothing along with black like the others he has a bow, he had dark brown hair and green eyes. They looked like they knew each other. They looked like they needed help. Brother and father started running into battle as did the three children. I tried to join in but brother tried to keep me away. I saw the bandits getting killed left and right. The only one left was the leader and he started charging to the girl. I ran to protect her. I got hit with the leader's axe taken to the same place as my dream.
"What were you thinking! Throwing yourself into the enemy path. Are you ready to die here?" the girl with long green hair looked at me. "I'm not" I looked at her worried "I'll have to guide you from now on. You can call me Sothis, I'm also known as the beginning. Let's start rewinding time."
I went back in time a few seconds before she got hit. I blocked the hit and hit him with my sword. Getting him down. Brother ran though me grabbing me and holding me as if I was hurt. "I'm fine. Don't worry about me. Is the girl okay?" I looked over at her. "I'm fine, thank you for your help. My name is Edelgard von Hresvelg, this is Dimitri Alexandre Blaiddyd" pointing at the boy wearing blue "and he is Claude von Riegan." pointing at the last boy wear yellow. "Rin, Jeralt wants to see you. Please be careful next time" I started walking to father. "Heya kid, we'll be heading to Garreg Mach Monastery. I want you and Byleth to stay close to me. Okay?" "Yes, father" I smiled and stayed close to brother. I was thinking about why would father want us to stay close. Is there something wrong there? Was it a bad place to be in? The children were walking next to us talking about Garreg Mach Monastery. Brother was talking to them as I stayed quiet. Dimitri tried to speak to me but brother got in the way. It made me laugh a bit. Father looked over and smile I bet thinking about the last try I laugh. Dimitri smiled "You know you have a cute laugh" he had his hand close to his mouth.
